TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings!...Welcome to the latest edition of “The Real Housewives of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.” Or is “Two Bears, One Cave” more apropos?  Most right-wing media are siding with The Donald in the epic political divorce. The National Review terms the Musk/Trump conflict “just another episode of ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’” Fox’s resident wit Greg Gutfeld got serious on “The Five” and said we should “give them credit for making their battle transparent,” reports the  The Gateway Pundit.  And Breitbart's John Nolte attempted to put a positive spin on the spat, claiming that Trump’s counter-attack on Musk upends the narrative that POTUS only cares about the super-rich. The Free Press describes it as  the  “breakup of the year.” Need a laugh?  Infowars offers a roundup of more than a dozen hilarious memes featuring the two bloviating billionaires at war. Maybe the only winner in this mega-battle is Joe Biden.  After days of dominating the news cycle, nobody is talking about Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s “Original Sin,” chronicling the coverup of the ex-president’s cognitive decline...D-Day began 81 years ago as brave allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, in a massive effort to defeat the Nazi axis of evil. Thank you, brave soldiers...Weekend Watch: This is an easy call.  Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET, CNN will broadcast a live performance of Good Night, Good Luck.  The Tony Award-nominated play stars George Clooney as the  legendary CBS newsman Edward Murrow who stood up to red-baiting Senator Joseph McCarthy.  It will also be streamed on Max. BTW, if you need something lighter, and I mean much lighter, try the Netflix miniseries Sirens...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

The Elon/Musk Feud Is Stupid and Dems Are Laughing at Us

source: Victory Girls

This tantrum between Elon and President Trump is only helping the Democrats. While the rest of us want them both to just put a freaking sock in it.

The Spat vs the Scandal

source: Townhall

Musk has created a legacy that could have been celebrated for decades. But this week, it was memes about Musk and Trump going through a “gay breakup,” JD Vance being dragged into a “bro-vorce,” and who gets custody of Junior’s retweets. All while the most dangerous political scandal of our lifetime is unfolding right behind the curtain.

Can Elon Kill the Bill?

source: Washington Examiner

Drama aside, the mercurial billionaire’s concerns are justified. According to the Congressional Budget Office, the “disgusting abomination” of a bill, in Musk’s words, would add $2.4 trillion to the deficit and would indeed raise the debt ceiling to unprecedented levels.

Trump’s Poll Numbers Are on Fire

source: SteveGruber.com

According to a new poll from Rasmussen, 50% of likely American voters think the country is on the right track under Trump, the first time in the company’s history that has a majority believing the country is on the right track. That sound you hear? That’s the mainstream media choking on their soy lattes.

Marxist-Leninist Hillary Clinton Is Trained to Ridicule Women

source: WND

She is an expert on ridiculing and trashing those who disagree with the communist ideology. Clinton recently labeled Republican women "handmaidens to the patriarchy" and notoriously called conservative Americans a "basket of deplorables" during her 2016 presidential campaign.

It’s Worse Than the Authors of “Original Sin” Know

source: Ann Coulter

The key takeaways from the book weren’t sufficiently highlighted by the authors: 1. Democrats are monumental liars. 2. They’re still lying. 3. The Biden dead-enders, who fought like banshees to keep him as the candidate, would have been Machiavellian geniuses, not con artists — if only the media hadn’t decided to dump the dementia patient.

There’s Nothing Conspiratorial About Uncovering Who Ran the Country During Biden Presidency

In a welcome move, President Donald Trump signaled he’s going after the truth about what was happening—and who was running the show—during Joe Biden’s presidency.

If You’ve Been Smeared as “Far Right,” It Means You Must Be Doing Something Right

source: European Conservative

Those of us who support the populist revolt across Europe should never be defensive in response to the establishment’s smear campaign. The truth is that the opinions and policies smeared as ‘far right’ are shared by millions of people across Europe. Indeed, until quite recently, many of them would have been considered as common sense rather than extremism

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings!  Good news for Newsmax? The Wall Street Journal is reporting exclusively this morning that Trump’s presidential library is likely to be built on the sprawling campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. It’s just around the corner from the headquarters of the conservative media juggernaut Newsmax (which I visited several months ago).  If this comes to pass, it will probably transform Boca Raton into a mecca for the MAGA-loving faithful for years to come...American Greatness is touting a new documentary that allegedly exposes the “wind energy scam.” “Blown Away” purports to show how wind turbines depend on fossil fuels for construction and how they can actually damage the environment.  You can watch the 73-minute documentary for free on X...Milk or bourbon?  Yesterday, I reported that Sec. of Defense Pete “Hair Gel” Hegseth was going to rename the Navy ship named after gay right icon Harvey Milk.  An astute fan of TheRighting suggested on my TikTok account that Hegseth, who has been accused alcohol abuse, should call the ship Jack Daniels.  Maybe the SS Shirley Temple should be considered as well...Former Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is writing a book about the last few months of Biden’s ill-fated presidential campaign, especially the three weeks leading up to his dropping out of the race. KJP claims Biden was betrayed by his party.  Independent: A Look Inside the Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines will be published in October. Memo to KJP: Scrap the title and come up with something catchier...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard
