TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Actor Sean Gunn, who plays the villain Max Lord in the upcoming Superman movie, has been outspoken in his pro-immigration beliefs. I’m wondering if his comments will be box office Kryptonite office when the blockbuster opens Friday.  Right-wing media outlets are already calling this version of Superman superwoke...In other movie biz news, Hollywood in Toto dumps on Charlize Theron for her “woke victim mentality.” Specifically, editor Christian Toto takes issue with the Oscar winner’s assertion that Hollywood doesn’t support female action heroes...Did not know this: After last summer’s  assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Butler, Penn., the then GOP nominee called right wing journo Salena Zito multiples times the following day. (The Free Press). Worth noting: Zito’s tome , Butler: The Untold Story of the Near Assassination of Donald Trump, hits shelves today...Blame DOGE? Kerr County, Texas, residents most likely could have been warned earlier of the fatal  flood raging their way, according to the NY Times. Op-ed scribe Zeynep Tufekci points to  DOGE cuts to the National Weather Service (NWS) that resulted in a key employee leaving the agency.  “(T)he Weather Service employee whose job it was to make sure those warnings got traction — Paul Yura, the long-serving meteorologist in charge of ‘warning coordination’ — had recently taken an unplanned early retirement amid cuts pushed by the so-called Department of Government Efficiency. He was not replaced.” The Times op-ed notes that because of the region’s history of deadly storms, it’s known as Flash Flood Alley...Is Michelle Obama a budding podcast star? That’s one of many revelations I’ve discovered after  compiling TheRighting’s first-ever top-50 list of political/news podcasts from the left, right and center.  The majority of the podcasts (29) were left-leaning or mainstream.  Five of the leading podcasts – including offerings from Jon Stewart, Candace Owens and Dasha Burns – launched within the last 14 months...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. DEI Still Infects West Point

source: American Mind

DEI employees are still running amok in the hallowed halls of the United States Military Academy at West Point. President Trump and members of his administration have taken the first steps toward eliminating DEI in the military, but there won’t be lasting change until all traces of it are removed from our military’s oldest academy.

Feminists Hate Motherhood

source: Victory Girls

These days, it is clear that modern feminists hate motherhood and push a culture that tells women to fear it and worship independence at all costs. They promise you will be free if you skip the family, freeze your eggs, and sign up for childless hustle culture — endless work, solo adventures, shallow hookups, and no roots.

Dems Have Blood on Their Hands After ICE Ambush

source: Conservative View from NH

What the Democrats are doing is an extension of the indoctrination of the last two generations by our education system. Our public schools have taught young Americans to look down on America as a country built with the blood and sweat of slaves for the benefit of the wealthy.

It’s Seriously Time for the Dems to Seek Psychiatric Help

If Trump is FOR something – even if it’s 100% great for the country – the Left is most definitely against it. It’s truly a mental illness.

For Your Consideration — James Comey in a Jumpsuit

source: PJ Media

He's spent the last nine years being fêted by the Democrats. Most of the Democrats, anyway. There are some who blame him for writing a kinda sorta sternly worded letter about Hillary Clinton and her illegal email server. In reality, he should have had her locked up.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! The Wall Street Journal is urging its readers not to blame DOGE, weathermen or climate change for the devastating Texas floods that claimed the lives of more than 100.  “The real culprit is cruel and fickle Mother Nature,” opines the WSJ...Who’s the worst person in politics?  The Daily Caller’s Natalie Sandoval says it’s Nina Turner, former Democratic State Senator from Ohio. However, Sandoval praised Turner for tweeting that GOP budget cuts to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration were not to blame for the Texas flood tragedy...American Thinker columnist Joseph D’Hippolito suggests that ultra-right podcaster Candace Owens may be an Iranian asset. “The time has come to consider whether Candace Owens’ criticisms of Middle East policy constitute treason” writes D’Hippolito. “During her interview with Piers Morgan on June 24, Owens encouraged American soldiers to seek dishonorable discharges to avoid fighting a possible war against Iran”...New on the political bookshelf: 2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America. It was written by three top political journalists: Isaac Arnsdorf, The Washington Post; Josh Dawsey, The Wall Street Journal; and Tyler Pager, The New York Times.  A book review in The New York Times, praises the timely tome.  However, it cautions anti-Trumpers. “For liberal readers, ‘2024’ is a book of what-might-have-beens. That makes for a punishing read”...Thanks for nothing, RFK Jr.!  Measles cases are out a 33-year high as an epidemic of vaccine-resistance sweeps parts of the country. The Dems’ Big Texas Flood Lie

The victims of catastrophic flooding in Texas were still being found, the dead were still being counted, and families were still looking for loved ones when Democrats began throwing around baseless charges and blaming President Donald Trump.

Despicable Dems Campaign on Texas Flood Victims, Blame Trump

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called the Democrats’ latest nasty gambit a "depraved lie."

Liberal Ghouls Compete to Mock Children Lost in Texas Flood

One would think Democrats could stow their hatred of Christians, conservatives, and white people until the bodies of the Camp Mystic victims have been pulled from the mud of the Guadalupe River. But, today's liberals are vile, hateful miscreants who find pleasure where they can, and lately, it's been in the body count of last week's tragic flash flood.

Lefty Responses to Texas Flooding Horror Are Demented and Depraved

source: NY Post

Decent Americans should be grieving the loss of possibly more than 100 lives — many of them kids — in the Texas flooding Friday, but heartless, unhinged lefties are looking instead to politicize the horror, focusing on race and blaming President Trump.
