TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! FoxNews.com published an op-ed by DNC chairman Ken Martin who wrote that Americans are not better off since Trump took office in January.  Martin specifically cites Trump’s focus on golfing and a new White House ballroom as a reason for Trump’s popularity decline... Another Murdoch-controlled outlet also slammed the Trump administration. In a Wall Street Journal column, Jeff Coller blasted Donald Trump’s HHS chief Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s decision to stop funding mRNA respiratory vaccine research and development. “My work began in the days of basic RNA biology, and it has reached to seeing my graduate student help design the Moderna Covid vaccine,” wrote Coller, a professor of biology at Johns Hopkins.  “I’ve watched these discoveries save millions of lives worldwide. Mr. Kennedy’s decision must be reversed”...Is this our nation? Oklahoma now requires teachers from New York and California applying for positions in the Sooner State to pass a certification test to ensure that they support a MAGA curriculum. According to USA Today, that means they agree with “elements of a conspiracy theory  that the Democratic Party stole the 2020 presidential election from President Donald Trump”...It took guts for MSNBC to rename their brand MS NOW (as in My Source News Opinion Now).  Still, it feels like a stretch (or a MS-take).  My first impression was that the progressive news network is competing with a deadly disease for name recognition.  The antiquated MS-DOS operating system popped into my brain too. The new branding may be even worse than MSNBC, one of the worst names for a cable network. The marketing department is facing a huge challenge and conservative critics are salivating....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Disney Ditches Spike Lee’s Colin Kaepernick Docuseries

source: Hollywood in Toto

Disney ordered the docuseries from the auteur, but that was before the public pumped the brakes on the woke revolution. Now, the Mouse House has little appetite for a close-up on the Left’s favorite former athlete. We’ve seen a crush of signs that Hollywood is finally listening to the public when it comes to woke overreach.

Fix the Flawed U.S. Census

source: Washington Times

A healthy republic must have strong borders, secure elections and an accurate census. The time is now to drive the necessary reforms for the census and move forward with a more accurate count of Americans.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! I have a growing fear that Trump’s federalization of the DC police force is much more than a distraction for the Epstein quagmire he finds himself in.  His end game, I suspect, is to roll out more U.S. army units in our cities with the complete cooperation of SecDef “Hairgel” Hegseth until it ends in a violent clash between military forces and demonstrators.  And then, to restore “law and order,” he will declare martial law and midterm elections will be postponed....Trump spent part of Sunday moaning on Truth Social about how the “fake news” media reported dishonestly about his nothingburger of a summit in Alaska with Putin on Friday.  “I had a great meeting in Alaska on Biden’s stupid War, a war that should have never happened!!!” Trump wrote. And of course, he had to get in a gratuitous dig at Joe Biden....Putin has a pen pal at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.  Melania Trump wrote an anodyne note to Vlad urging him to “put children first,” which Trump posted on Truth Social.  Victory Girls termed the note “an artful piece of diplomacy and PR,” which strikes me as a very generous description....Bad news for Elon: The Free Press compared China’s BYD, the world’s best-selling electric vehicle, to a Tesla. The Tesla came out on top, but BYD is quickly closing the gap. Worth noting: half of BYD’s sell for under $25,000....I’ve posted some images from Saturday’s Fight the Trump Takeover rallies.  If you have any photos, please send to me: Howard(AT)TheRighting.com. I’ll post and credit. Be sure to name the location...If you keep reading and protesting, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

It’s the Age of Trump and He’s Forging a New Political Era

source: NY Post

By Rich Lowry: If you had to sum up President Donald Trump’s second term so far in one word, you could do worse than “epic.” Trump may be on the path to the most consequential presidency since Ronald Reagan’s.

Trump, the President of Peace

The war in Ukraine, one of the deadliest conflicts in modern Europe, may actually be brought to a conclusion not by endless U.N. chatter or NATO bureaucrats, but by Trump himself.

Trump Deserves Praise for Having the Nerve to Meet Putin

By Cindy Adams: Let’s praise Donald. Thank him. Respect him. Who else had the gizzard, nerves, smarts to stand face-to-face to Satan’s lying teeth in front of the world?

The Art of the Summit

source: 1819 News

Six months post-Biden, the world has now seen a first layer of negotiations, coupled with a revamped NATO, a galvanized European Union, and a leader in the White House. Is it any wonder why Putin came to a U.S. military base in Alaska and had to watch a B-2 Stealth bomber fly over his head? It’s a whole new day for U.S. foreign policy.

Putin, Trump and Elusive “Peace”

Trump’s Alaska summit with Putin yielded no ceasefire, but it revealed the contours of a possible peace—where diplomacy, exhaustion, and hard limits define the battlefield’s end.

From the very beginning it was clear that Ukraine’s borders, a relic of Soviet propaganda, would have to change.

Put White Liberal Journalists on the Streets of DC for a Night

source: WND

By Wayne Allyn Root: On my new reality TV show, we drop off white liberal journalists with nice watches, gold chains, wedding bands and wallets of cash, in the middle of Washington, D.C., after dark, and then follow them with cameras as they walk the mean streets of D.C. until sunrise.

MAHA Brings Nourishment to the Poor, Not Shame

source: Newsmax

The end is coming for soda, energy drinks, candy bars, and donuts on Uncle Sam’s tab. Cue the hysteria. This policy is not about shaming the poor or paternalistic micromanagement. It’s about drawing a moral and fiscal line in the sand: federal assistance should feed health, not disease.

A Kennedy Center for the Whole Country?

With the line between ‘art’ and ‘entertainment’ blurred, Trump’s Kennedy Center seeks to give its audiences a bit of both.
