TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! More Pride Month backlash (and it’s not even June yet). The Daily Caller dropped a snarky article pointing out that Washington’s Reagan National Airport is celebrating Pride Month “amid recent safety concerns following a deadly crash and other incidents.” The subtext?  The airport is spending more time promoting Pride Month than on safety...Elon Musk saw the handwriting on the White House wall and knew it was time to get out of DOGE. Trump is holding a press conference today at 1:30 EST to acknowledge the erratic gazillionaire’s selfish service to our nation.  Worth noting: NY Times’ Michelle Goldberg has an insightful column detailing  Musk’s reign of terror and error. Her most recent op-ed cites his legacy of “disease, starvation and death.” I’m with Goldberg on this DOGE damage assessment...Dept. of Corrections: Yesterday I erroneously wrote that RFK demanded that government-funded scientists not publish their research in several respected medical journals. I should have written that he threatened to prevent them from publishing...Weekend Watch: The Netflix three-parter The Tylenol Murders looks back at the 1982 deaths of seven people from taking cyanide-laced Tylenol capsules. The horrifying whodunnit tale had me hooked from the first frames (the murderer has never been found). Check it out and if you have a headache afterwards, my advice is to reach for an Advil...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Black Women in Charge: Profiles in Umbrage

There’s never a shortage of jobs for black women accusing everyone else of racism

Goodbye to Racial Quotas in Federal Contracts

One of Trump’s successes is cleaning up the racial spoils system.

Kennedy Creating Seismic Shifts in Health Policy

source: Daily Signal

While Kennedy’s first 100 days have sparked both optimism and controversy, he has undeniably set a new tone at HHS, one that is focused on prevention, innovation, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. And that’s exactly what America needs.

The Press Rediscovers Its Outrage Over Presidential Pardons

source: The Federalist

The media doesn’t oppose presidential pardons; they just oppose them when they don’t agree with them.

The Sexual Revolution Enslaved Us

source: Blaze Media

As Christians, we must resist the temptations surrounding us on every screen and scroll. We must see how broken the porn industry is — and how broken it makes those who produce and consume it. Pornography and casual sex will never satisfy.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Acronym of the Day:  TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out, when it comes to tariffs).  USA Today explains the term and why Wall Street traders have embraced it.  PS. I know what I’m having for lunch today!...Adios to Elon Musk who announced he’s leaving the Trump administration.  Anyone sorry to see him go?...Right-wing media has ”60 Minutes” correspondent Scott Pelley in its crosshairs for his recent commencement speech at Wake Forest University.  During the address, Pelley warned that “our sacred rule of law is under attack. Journalism is under attack. Universities are under attack. Freedom of speech is under attack.” The NY Post described his speech as “unhinged.” The New Republic has published the full transcript of the 25-minute speech...This sickens my stomach. Health and Human Services chief Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., has demanded government-funded scientists not publish  their research in respected  medical journals such as Lancet and The New England Journal of Medicine.  The unhinged HHS Supremo says such periodicals  are “corrupt” tools of big Pharma.  Kennedy says the government might launch  its own publication. My suggested title: Quack.  Politico and The Washington Post have stomach-churning details...Tough question: who’s the most dishonest person in Trump’s White House other than you-know-who?  It’s Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, opines Stop the Presses’ Mark Jacob who describes a blatant lie as a “Lutnick.”  The Commerce Secretary gets the nod because he “cheerfully and enthusiastically showers snake oil on our country.” My vote goes to Pete “Hair Gel” Hegseth,  but he’s got mucho competition in  the race to the bottom...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Time for a “Big Beautiful Deal” for Greenland

source: The American Conservative

“Commerce, not chaos” is the president’s preferred foreign policy. He should act on it and build his legacy in Greenland.

Trump’s U.S. Steel Deal Is a Historic Achievement

source: Daily Signal

Local steelworkers, community leaders, and economic experts said President Donald Trump’s announcement Friday that a deal was struck between U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel will go down in American history as the most enduring economic “big, beautiful deal” the 47th president has made.

Trump Tariffs, Trade, Tacos and Turkeys

Trump isn’t a “chicken” over tariffs, he’s a grandmaster.

Trump Walks All Over Reporter Who Tried to Goad Him with “Nasty” Schoolyard Insult

source: RedState

Thinking she’d embarrass the president during an Oval Office ceremony for Jeanine Pirro, Megan Casella of CNBC asked, “Wall Street analysts have coined a term called the ‘TACO trade.’ They’re saying that Trump always chickens out on his tariff threats.” What is your response to that?” She probably wishes she hadn’t asked

FLOTUS Is Still a Mama Bear

source: Victory Girls

Melania Trump broke the silence yesterday on a conspiracy theory/rumor that has been circulating: Barron Trump was rejected by Harvard. Melanie Trump told the Palm Beach Post any claims that her son Barron was rejected by Harvard in the college application process are “completely false."  In fact, the son of the President may not have even applied to Harvard.

Why Musk Is So Important

source: Washington Examiner

Musk is crucial to America’s space ambitions because, for a long time, after one of the greatest achievements in human history, the Apollo exploration of the moon, America seemed not to have any space ambitions at all. Musk changed that.

There Is Nothing Democrats Will Not Ruin

source: Townhall

Is there a place in the country better off because Democrats have control over the local or state government? If your hobby is getting pregnant so you can have an abortion, living in Chicago or Boston is a plus, but not if you’re a fan of things like not being robbed or shot. Otherwise, only slumlords and progressive “organizers” thrive in a world controlled by the left.

Democrats and Their DEI Albatrosses

source: American Greatness

Democrats are trapped by the toxic DEI ideology they created—too afraid to reform, too broken to survive without it

Biden’s Scandal Lit the Fuse on a Democratic Civil War

source: NY Post

Every major administration official who served under Joe Biden helped hide the president’s decline — and some Dems are using the public's outrage to their political advantage.

It’s Obvious Why Young Men Don’t Like Democrats

source: Daily Caller

The Democratic party decided to shell out tens of millions of dollars to study us. Not talk to us. Not listen. Not ask honest questions. Just study us — like we’re alien creatures under a microscope. That’s not strategy; it’s stupidity.

The Left Lost Young Men and Now They’re Paying Consultants Millions to Find Out Why

source: Human Events

There's something almost poetic about the Democratic Party's desperation. Faced with a mass exodus of young men from their ranks, the Left's solution isn't to rethink their disastrous policies or the cultural rot they've championed. Nope, they've decided to shell out tens of millions of dollars to study young men. Could you not talk to them?
