Naturally, Trump reposted the link to the article on Truth Social and called it a “must read”... Townhall’s far-right columnist Kurt Schlichter would disagree with 19Fortyfive's assessment. He is officially fed up with Trump’s war with Iran.  In Schlichter's most recent column, he implored the see-sawing POTUS to “just win the war.” He says the on-again, off-again strategy is getting tiresome and he urges action. “(H)it them everywhere at once. Seize Kharg Island. Strike from the sea, from the air, and through the wires. Target anything tied to the regime, especially the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,” he writes. “Whether it’s a construction company, a gas refinery, or a massage parlor, put a bomb on it.”...The Trump-controlled Truth Social posted steep traffic declines for the second month in a row, according to TheRighting’s exclusive analysis.  My take: audiences are starting to tune out his constant hyperbolic messaging on Truth Social which he uses as his personal megaphone to pulverize his enemies. His tanking approval numbers and diminished traffic both seem to be on a similar downward trajectory...Weekend Watch: The Bombing of Pan Am 103 quietly snuck into my Netflix queue last week and I’ve been hooked ever since.  The fascinating six-part docudrama recreates the December 1988 tragedy of the Pan Am 747 that was blown apart by a terrorist bomb over Lockerbie, Scotland, resulting in the deaths of nearly 300 people.  It’s mainly a police procedural of how a dogged international task force managed to crack the case. Tongues were wagging yesterday after Trump’s speech in Las Vegas.  It’s not what he said; it’s his thick head of hair that has mysteriously appeared on the top of his skull.  It immediately sparked speculation that he was wearing a wig. He’s probably pleased with all the wig chatter because at least no one’s talking about his stupid Reflecting Pool....Lobster lands MTG in Hot Water: Former Republican Congresswoman and attention-magnet Marjorie Taylor Greene is under fire for her culinary choice while honeymooning in Maine this month.  While stopping at Luke’s Lobster in Portland, she committed an apparent faux pas by dousing her lobster roll in truffle butter. The Maine Wire points out  that truffle butter hides the naturally delicious flavor of the crustacean...More Melania: Who wants to see another documentary about Melania Trump this year? Not me, not that it matters. The First Lady’s senior advisor, Marc Beckman, told the conservative network Real America’s Voice that a new docuseries will bow this fall on Amazon Prime.  According to People.com, the series will take viewers much deeper into her life than “Melania,” the Prime documentary that dropped earlier this year and only looked at 20 days in her life.  It feels like another cash-grab for Mrs. Trump who earned nearly $11 million for the first vapid documentary on Prime...Hegseth in the Hot Seat: A bombshell Washington Post article reveals that last weekend the pugnacious Secretary of Defense was grilled by Trump over the nearly depleted supply of missiles needed for the war against Iran.  Predictably, a White House spokesperson called the report “fake news.” Also predictably: Hegseth reportedly blamed the shortages on his #2, Stephen Feinberg. Greetings!  Looks like Republicans and right-wing media have a new punching bag.  Abdul El-Sayed, a far-left progressive who is the son of Egyptian immigrants, has apparently won the Democratic nomination for Senate in Michigan, squeaking by moderate Haley Stevens in last night’s election (NBC News).  My prediction: he’s going to become the most vilified Democrat in the next three months leading to the midterms. This morning, Trump called him a “Communist loser” on Truth Social, which seems like a mild description coming from our slur-slinging president. El-Sayed has been criticized for anti-semitic commentary, his attitudes toward women, and his calls for defunding the police and ending military support for Israel. Worth noting: He is not a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and was not endorsed by the group...The right-leaning Washington Stand takes a swipe at Michigan’s Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Center for pushing a LGBT+ agenda.  “Whether Pine Rest was motivated by profit or some other undisclosed reason, its pro-LGBT position has enabled it to flourish under the pro-LGBT Whitmer administration,” according to the Stand’s Joshua Arnold. “Pine Rest obtained $50 million in state grants for construction of its new pediatric center, or just over half of the $98 million price tag”...Music-critic-in-chief: Last week, Trump gave a big shout out (with a link) to the new song One Nation by Steve Gruber & The Freedom Project.  Here’s the opening lines: "Lord, hear my earnest prayer for these United States.
