Greetings! Greecing a palm: U.S. ambassador to Greece and plastic surgery survivor Kimberly Guilfoyle has landed in hot water thanks to a devastating Wall Street Journal investigation two days ago. The page one article charged that Guilfoyle, Don Jr.’s ex-fiancée, and a staunch POTUS ally, pushed a wealthy donor to wire her $100,000 to pay off a large Amex bill.  This is a headache Trump doesn’t need now with the midterms less than a month away....Ready, Aim, Fire! Pete “Hairgel” Hegseth must be dramatically increasing his daily testosterone intake because he’s clearly going into masculine overdrive.  Yesterday, the macho-posturing Sec. of Defense  announced that former Army officer Nidal Hasan, would be put to death by firing squad (!!) and the execution would be live streamed (!!) for everyone to see on a platform to be named. (Major detail, BTW) Hasan was convicted for the 2009 mass shooting at Fort Hood, Texas, in which he killed 13 people and wounded 32 others.  Hegseth must think he’s living in 18th century London when executions of criminals were regularly held in town squares as a show of state power, according to the London Museum. Wonder if the Trump-controlled Truth Social would want to be Hegseth’s streaming partner....Weekend Watch: HBO Max’s War is a twisty, eight-part divorce drama set among the London elite.  I’m not usually a fan of domestic dramas, but after two episodes I’m hooked. Also See-Worthy: If you remember acerbic comedian Dennis Miller’s early aught’s stint as a commentator for ABC’s “Monday Night Football,” the 30-minute documentary Miller Night Football will put a smile on your face....In recognition of Columbus Day, TheRighting will not publish Monday. Londonistan: In his latest article, Wall Street Journal columnist Dominic Green describes the United Kingdom as a “hub” for Iranians and concludes that it is therefore an ally of the United States that is not to be trusted...Breitbart senior editor John Nolte jumped into the Cornell 7 rape case fracas with some choice words.  According to Nolte, Jane Doe has now decided that she was raped by several Cornell men in 2024 and is suing “the pants off of everyone and, with a lot of (likely coordinated) help from the far-left corporate media”... Gag alert: Why Fauci MUST Rot in Prison will be published October 20 by Trump advisor and America First trade guru Peter Navarro.  None other than Steve Bannon wrote the foreword to the book. Worth noting: Navarro “rotted” in prison for four months in 2024 after being held in contempt of Congress for refusing to hand over documents during a House hearing about the Jan. 6 attacks....Anti-Israel demonstrators threatened and harassed a Daily Wire reporter covering protests in NYC on October 7. It was the third anniversary of the deadly Hamas attacks on Israel resulting in roughy 1,200 deaths.  According to the Daily Wire , he was attacked because he was representing a right-wing outlet, which are generally much more pro-Israel and anti-Free Palestine than mainstream and progressive media sources...Dept. of No Surprises: Ross Douthat, the newest member of the “60 Minutes” reporting team, has just signed on as a columnist for Bari Weiss’s conservative-leaning Free Press.  Weiss has become one of the most vilified executives in the news business since becoming honcho of CBS News a year ago.
