Twitchy and Epoch Times Lead All Conservative Websites in May Audience Growth

July 7,  2022, New York, NY – The Epoch Times and Twitchy posted healthy year-over-year (YOY) gains in traffic to lead all right-wing websites in May, according to TheRighting’s exclusive analysis of May 2022 mobile and desktop traffic based on Comscore data.   Twitchy experienced a 35% jump in YOY traffic compared to May 2021 as it attracted 465,000 unique visitors.  The Epoch Times rose to become the second most trafficked conservative website for May as its unique visitors increased to 6,263,000, a 30% surge compared to a year ago. 

After two months of increased traffic, DonaldJTrump.com stumbled as unique visitors plunged 94%. The former president’s website attracted only 201,000 unique visitors, compared to 3,279,000 in May 2021.

Among the three mainstream news brands TheRighting follows, only the New York Times brand  experienced a YOY increase in unique visitors for May 2022 (+28%).  The Washington Post declined -14% compared to May 2021 and CNN did not register a change attracting 131 million unique visitors in May of 2021 and May of 2022.

Parler Talk

Parler’s audience continued to decline  as its YOY unique visitors sagged in May with 543,000 unique visitors compared to two million in May 2021. Here are the May 2022 unique visitors for the four conservative-friendly social media platforms TheRighting follows:

 

·      Rumble (8,585,000; +1% vs year ago)

·      MeWe (934,00; -60% vs year ago)

·      Gettr (807,000; year-ago data NA)

·      Parler (543,000; -74% vs year ago)
