Greetings! Welcome to Debate Week. Unless there’s a massive gaffe or meltdown by Joe Biden or Donald Trump Thursday night, I’m downplaying the importance of this political slugfest, because it’s way too early in the election cycle. Too much can happen between now and Nov. 5…The Gateway Pundit suggests, sans any evidence, that Biden has Parkinson’s disease…TheRighting’s unofficial Arizona bureau chief Barry Kluger penned a smart and funny column in the “Jewdicious” Substack in response to a new Louisiana law that requires the Ten Commandments be displayed in every public classroom. Kluger opines that Jerry Seinfeld’s best 10 minutes of standup should be required reading for school kids too…The volume of criticism from the right directed toward June Pride Month has been strangely muted. Yes, there’s still the occasional nasty, homophobic story, but it’s nothing compared to what I witnessed in the past. Maybe the Trump trial and conviction last month plus the upcoming June 27 debate, has sucked most of the oxygen from news cycles in June…Dept. of No Surprise: Somehow I missed this story late last year, but the pro-DeSantis blog, The Florida Standard, stopped publishing in December (Rolling Stone)…A new White House communications staffer is already under fire for posting anti-cop and anti-Israel social media tweets (National Review)…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
