“Candace” Ranks as Q3’s Fastest-Growing Conservative Podcast;

“Bannon’s War Room” Posts Strong Subscriber Growth

October 7, 2021, New York, NY – “Candace,” a weekly podcast featuring conservative commentator Candace Owens, was the fastest-growing right-wing podcast in the third quarter, according to TheRighting’s exclusive analysis of Castbox data.  The program increased its subscriptions by 13% on the Castbox platform in the quarter, more than any other show in TheRighting’s top 20 list.

“Candace” began the quarter with 12,280 subscribers and finished with 13,888.  The “Matt Walsh Show” ranked second for the quarter, increasing its subscriptions by 12% in that period.

While “Bannon’s War Room” posted a larger percentage increase in its subscriptions for the quarter, it failed to land in TheRighting’s top 20 chart, which is based on total subscriptions, not percentage growth.  Subscriptions to the show featuring former Trump advisor Steve Bannon ballooned 25% and generated 1,929 new subscribers for the period, rising from 7,851 to 9,780. That was more than any other conservative podcast except “The Ben Shapiro Show” and “Dan Bongino Show.”

“The Ben Shapiro Show,” an hour-long daily podcast hosted by right-wing commentator and media mogul Ben Shapiro, remained the most dominant conservative podcast available.  It added 14,505 new subscribers on the Castbox platform, giving it 437,286 through September 30, which is four times greater than the #2 conservative podcast, “Bill “O’Reilly’s No Spin News.”  However, its subscription base only grew 3% in the quarter.
