Strong Subscriber Growth for Megyn Kelly Podcast Pushes Program into Top Ten for the First Time Ever
July 10, 2023, New York, NY – “The Megyn Kelly Show” ranked as one of right wing media’s fastest growing podcasts in the second quarter, according to TheRighting’s year-over-year (YOY) analysis of data from the podcast app Castbox. For the first time ever, the daily podcast from the former NBC and Fox News anchor cracked TheRighting’s top ten right wing podcasts landing in the #10 spot, up from #15 last quarter. The show also ranked second in generating new subscribers in the quarter, and third in YOY percentage growth.
Programs distributed by the Daily Wire podcast network continued to post healthy gains. “The Ben Shapiro Show” remained right wing media’s most dominant podcast with 540,421 subscribers recorded on the Castbox platform, far more than any other program. It also generated 52,362 new subscribers in the quarter, exceeding all conservative competitors. Other Daily Wire shows also had huge percentage YOY growth in the second quarter including “Candace Owens” (50%) and “The Morning Wire” (56%).
