“Louder with Crowder” Ranks Among the Fastest-Growing Conservative News Podcasts in July 

August 9, 2021, New York, NY – “Louder with Crowder,” a daily podcast hosted by the Canadian-American conservative commentator and comedian Steven Crowder, ranked as one of the fastest-growing conservative news podcasts in July, according to TheRighting’s exclusive analysis based on Castbox data.  

The show attracted 1,036 new subscribers on the Castbox app in July 2021 ranking only behind “The Ben Shapiro Show”  (added 3,699 subscribers) in the conservative news podcast category.  With 86,108 total subscriber, Crowder’s podcast ranks as #3 on TheRighting’s top 20 conservative podcast chart, trailing only “The Ben Shapiro Show” (426,450) and  “Bill O’Reilly’s No Spin News” (107,748).

Although “Bannon’s War Room” didn’t crack TheRighting’s top 20, it tallied 504 new subscribers for July, trailing 792 new subscribers for “The Dan Bongino Show.”  They were among the four fastest-growing podcasts for July.

“Rush Limbaugh: Timeless Wisdom,” a new podcast featuring short segments from prior broadcasts of the late radio host, ranked as the 12th most popular conservative news podcast.  The daily show has 29,297 subscribers as of July 31, 2021

Among mainstream and liberal news podcasts that TheRighting follows, only two generated more new subscribers in July than “The Ben Shapiro Show”: “The Daily” (5,322) from The New York Times, and the BBC’s “Global News Podcast” (4,164).  They are also the only two news podcasts with more subscribers than Ben Shapiro’s podcast.  

Methodology

This report is based on data that is updated daily from the podcast app Castbox, which is the fourth most popular app on the podcast-hosting platform Buzzsprout.  Castbox represents 2.8% of all podcasts that Buzzsprout serves ranking behind Spotify (31.3%), Apple Podcasts (26.1%) and Google Podcasts (3.0%).  No other leading podcast app besides Castbox makes its data available.
