Parler Traffic Skyrockets in December 2020

January 28, 2021, New York, NY – Newsmax.com registered a 148% gain in year-over-year (YOY) unique visitors, making it the third highest-ranked conservative website for the month of December 2020.  According to TheRighting’s exclusive analysis of December 2020 mobile and desktop traffic based on Comscore data, Newsmax attracted 9,152,000 unique visitors, compared  to December 2019 when the site had 3,695,000 unique visitors.

Foxnews.com saw its YOY traffic plummet 13% in December 2020 when it drew 87,734,000 unique visitors compared to 100,470,000 in December 2019.  However, it was still the most visited conservative website by a wide margin.

“Newsmax is an up-and-coming news brand catering to right-wing audiences looking for a dash of news complemented with some pointed conservative commentary,” said Howard Polskin, President and Chief Curator, TheRighting.  “Based on the December 2020 numbers, I believe there is audience dissatisfaction with Foxnews.com and that may be benefiting Newsmax.com which leans further to the right. It will be interesting to see if those numbers hold up through 2021.”
