(The Telegraph)...An op-ed in the Washington Times opposes the United States selling F-35 fighter jets to Turkey claiming that Turkey is not America’s ally...Yesterday, I wrote that best-selling author and Maine’s literary luminary Stephen King still supported Graham Platner in his bid for the Senate.  Looks like King may have walked back that position.  Fox News and other outlets are reporting that the horror master deleted his post and clarified his stance, writing on X, “If he committed rape, he should bow out.”  Not King’s most shining moment... Walt Heyer, who lived for eight years as a woman, has written an article for the Daily Signal admitting that “being transgender is a fantasy.” “(T)he practices at gender clinics dehumanize and destroy men and women by carving away at God’s design and harming their ability to reproduce,” Heyer wrote. “Gender clinics don’t make women out of men, or men out of women—they just leave vulnerable people in a lost state, wearing a mask to disguise the truth of biological sex”... Remember Michael Cohen? He was Trump’s fixer who did three years in the slammer for doling out hush money payments among other sins. However, there was nothing about his Nazi tattoo or allegations of sexual misconduct or worse...Speaking of Platner: Maine’s favorite literary son, author and horror master Stephen King, still supports Platner despite the new rape allegation that dropped yesterday. In a post on X, King wrote that he hopes the Maine Senate candidate won’t drop out of the race...Dept. of Corrections. The boss of FIFA is Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino. I omitted his last name in yesterday’s newsletter...A woke-related controversy may be brewing over the July 17 release of the epic adventure film “The Odyssey,” one of 2026’s most anticipated films.
