TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Another sign of the apocalypse?  The Trump Dance has taken the sports world by storm, “quickly becoming part of the culture” (The Sporting News).  It may be time for me to spend more time fishing and less time watching the NFL… Jeff Dorman, a Righting subscriber,  recommends several progressive Substacks for discerning readers “who will not be sticking their heads in the sand.”  His list includes columns from progressive  radio host  Thom Hartmann, data scientist Stephen Spoonamore, political analyst Rachel “The Doc” Bitecofer,  ex-LA Times scribe Matt Pearce, and lauded historian Heather Cox Richardson…Professional Trump critic and dazzling wordsmith Michael Wolff is working on another Trump book and MAGA-world is up in arms. Fifteen high-ranking members of Team Trump released a statement today, which in part reads, “A number of us have received inquiries from the disgraced author Michael Wolff, whose previous work can only be described as fiction…(W)e encourage others to completely disregard whatever nonsense he eventually publishes.” You can’t buy that type of publicity and Wolff must be thrilled.  I can’t wait to read…Somehow this slipped under my radar.  For nearly a year, Tucker Carlson’s been successfully spewing on his own daily podcast. Apple just named it one of 2024’s most popular podcasts. Keep in mind, “popular” is a squishy term. It doesn't mean “The Tucker Carlson Show” is the most listened to or most subscribed.  Apple does not release those hard numbers…In  the shameless plug department, my talented daughter Hannah, whose artwork has been lauded in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and other respected outlets, makes menorahs that are so beautiful they also function as free-standing pieces of art. She's offering our readers free shipping using the code THERIGHTING at checkout. You can visit her site here.  Hanukkah is five weeks away…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Trump Tags in Linda McMahon to Body-Slam the Dept. of Education

The New York Times described McMahon as "a former professional wrestling executive with little experience in education policy." What the perennially clueless leftists don't understand is that it's a feature, not a bug in this situation.

The Health Care Industrial Complex Hates RFK Jr

source: Unleash Prosperity

We don’t share many of RFK Jr’s views and he does have a penchant for exaggeration, but we do like that he has a lot of the right enemies. In particular, the gang of misinformers who lied about Covid are gaining up on him. In contrast, RFK Jr. has been proven right to oppose lockdowns and vaccine mandates.

Why Matt Gaetz Makes Sense as Attorney General

source: Daily Caller

We still have the Department of Justice ruining the lives of grandmas and grandpas across the country by prosecuting them for taking pictures in the Rotunda. Gaetz will end this and hold accountable those who ran roughshod over any semblance of civil liberties.

Attorney General Matt Gaetz Would Backfire on Trump

President Trump would not be well served by having an attorney general who was preoccupied for a year or more with his own fate.

Mr. President, Please Ditch the Dreadful Duo of Gabbard and Gaetz

They’re distracting chaos agents who won’t accomplish what Trump wants them to, and will most likely backfire on his agenda.

Rep. Mace’s Bathroom Bill Is a Logical Next Step

source: Washington Examiner

Most of the country shifted rightward in favor of Trump after Vice President Kamala Harris aligned herself with the far Left. An undercurrent of normalcy is returning. The majority of people are either indifferent to woke ideas or find them bothersome enough to advocate their removal from the mainstream.

Rep. Tim McBride Must Use the House Ladies Room

source: FrontPage

Rep. Tim McBride, currently going by Sarah, and his burning desire to use the ladies’ room somehow became the subject of the day on Capitol Hill. Is this what Americans need to be talking about now? Obviously not. But the transgender movement insists on centering its sexual fetish of pretending to be women at the expense of everything else.

Suddenly, It’s Cool to Be MAGA

source: Liberty Nation News

On soccer fields, in football stadium end zones, inside fight rings, and just about every other public place one can imagine, Americans are doing the Trump dance. It’s a combination of the 1960s twist with a bit of disco action in the hips. It sends the message, “We are with you, Mr. President-elect, and we are MAGA.”

Joe and Mika Kneel Before Superman’s Zod

source: National Review

The pair of MSNBC anchors read a speech yesterday morning — an oddly overchoreographed performance where they traded off paragraphs like a hydra-headed duo — and for all of the statement’s amusing and poignant qualities it sounded like a tired wheeze of surrender before General Zod (Superman's uncle).
