TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings!...Welcome to the latest edition of “The Real Housewives of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.” Or is “Two Bears, One Cave” more apropos?  Most right-wing media are siding with The Donald in the epic political divorce. The National Review terms the Musk/Trump conflict “just another episode of ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’” Fox’s resident wit Greg Gutfeld got serious on “The Five” and said we should “give them credit for making their battle transparent,” reports the  The Gateway Pundit.  And Breitbart's John Nolte attempted to put a positive spin on the spat, claiming that Trump’s counter-attack on Musk upends the narrative that POTUS only cares about the super-rich. The Free Press describes it as  the  “breakup of the year.” Need a laugh?  Infowars offers a roundup of more than a dozen hilarious memes featuring the two bloviating billionaires at war. Maybe the only winner in this mega-battle is Joe Biden.  After days of dominating the news cycle, nobody is talking about Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s “Original Sin,” chronicling the coverup of the ex-president’s cognitive decline...D-Day began 81 years ago as brave allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, in a massive effort to defeat the Nazi axis of evil. Thank you, brave soldiers...Weekend Watch: This is an easy call.  Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET, CNN will broadcast a live performance of Good Night, Good Luck.  The Tony Award-nominated play stars George Clooney as the  legendary CBS newsman Edward Murrow who stood up to red-baiting Senator Joseph McCarthy.  It will also be streamed on Max. BTW, if you need something lighter, and I mean much lighter, try the Netflix miniseries Sirens...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

If You’ve Been Smeared as “Far Right,” It Means You Must Be Doing Something Right

source: European Conservative

Those of us who support the populist revolt across Europe should never be defensive in response to the establishment’s smear campaign. The truth is that the opinions and policies smeared as ‘far right’ are shared by millions of people across Europe. Indeed, until quite recently, many of them would have been considered as common sense rather than extremism

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings!  Good news for Newsmax? The Wall Street Journal is reporting exclusively this morning that Trump’s presidential library is likely to be built on the sprawling campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. It’s just around the corner from the headquarters of the conservative media juggernaut Newsmax (which I visited several months ago).  If this comes to pass, it will probably transform Boca Raton into a mecca for the MAGA-loving faithful for years to come...American Greatness is touting a new documentary that allegedly exposes the “wind energy scam.” “Blown Away” purports to show how wind turbines depend on fossil fuels for construction and how they can actually damage the environment.  You can watch the 73-minute documentary for free on X...Milk or bourbon?  Yesterday, I reported that Sec. of Defense Pete “Hair Gel” Hegseth was going to rename the Navy ship named after gay right icon Harvey Milk.  An astute fan of TheRighting suggested on my TikTok account that Hegseth, who has been accused alcohol abuse, should call the ship Jack Daniels.  Maybe the SS Shirley Temple should be considered as well...Former Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is writing a book about the last few months of Biden’s ill-fated presidential campaign, especially the three weeks leading up to his dropping out of the race. KJP claims Biden was betrayed by his party.  Independent: A Look Inside the Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines will be published in October. Memo to KJP: Scrap the title and come up with something catchier...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Time for Congress to Pull Back the Curtain on Biden

source: Daily Caller

The wide-ranging cover-up of former President Biden’s cognitive decline and questions regarding his cancer diagnosis, the autopen, and unelected political operatives running the White House must be prioritized and thoroughly investigated by Congress.

Gays Ruined “Pride” with Engaging in Public Sex

source: The Federalist

The public sex displays ruined whatever might have been fine about “Pride.” They still say it’s about “love” and “acceptance.” That stopped being true around 2013 in D.C., when it became common for shirtless old men to step out for pride downtown wearing leather harnesses, “transgenders” showing off their mastectomy scars and kinky deviants wearing fetish costumes.

AARP Continues Embrace of Far-Left Gender Ideology During Pride Month

source: Association of Mature American Citizens

AARP is still going full steam ahead on its Pride Month messaging, continuing a years-long pattern of embracing far-left gender ideology. An article published on AARP’s website on May 30 makes clear that AARP has no intention of backing down from its full-throated endorsement of LGBTQ ideology – and exposing children to it.

Campus Chants Have Deadly Consequences

When accused DC gunman Elias Rodriguez was arrested, he shouted, “Free, free Palestine.” His singsong cadence sounded like it came straight from a college campus rally. So did the words in his alleged manifesto.

Every Aspiring Dem Is Helping Illegal Aliens Escape

source: FrontPage

Used to be that it was enough for a ‘progressive’ Dem to just get a photo op crying crocodile tears outside a fence on ICE property. True commitment now requires either aiding and abetting illegal alien criminals to escape from ICE or physically assaulting police officers and immigration personnel in defense of illegal aliens.

Voters Must Fight Dems’ New War on Small-Town America

source: NY Post

The Democratic Party is using brute legal force to remake towns using a cookie-cutter formula that forces each to have the same proportion of houses and apartments, the same mix of low, middle- and upper-income residents and the same reliance on public transit, all controlled by state politicians, not towns and their residents.
