"Any time you're out of anything, it's 86-ed," says a hospitality consultant in the piece. Donald Trump doesn’t agree, per a Truth Social post today. The portly POTUS claims  it’s a mob-speak for murdering someone “eight miles out, six feet down.” Ex- FBI Director James Comey is under indictment for posting an image on Instagram of sea shells arranged in the number “86 47,”  which the DOJ claims is a  death threat aimed at  the nation’s 47^th president....Kicking into high gear: Last week, the  popular Fox Corp-owned right-leaning sports outlet Outkick got a facelift. Its website sports a cleaner design with more images and a look more akin to its big cousin Foxnews.com.  As part of the revamp, Outkick stories will get more prominent home page play on Foxnews.com.  Essentially, Outkick’s connection with Fox will be more akin to the Athletic’s relationship with the NY Times. Worth noting:  Part of the Fox empire since 2021, Outkick is the 7^th most-visited right-wing website according to TheRighting’s latest research...The King’s Speech: The pundit class is applauding King Charles’ address to Congress yesterday. The collective takeaway is the British Monarch helped smooth rocky relations between the United States and the United Kingdom via his understated humor and grace. UK’s Guardian noted wryly, “If Charles spots signs saying ‘No kings’ on his travels, he shouldn’t take it personally.” Here’s the transcript of the full speech...Kudos to AP media journo Dave Bauder who retires today after a remarkable 40-year run  with the news agency. Greetings! Number of the Day: 8*47 (I’d write out the full number without the asterisk, but I don’t want to risk being charged with a felony.) It was foolish and unnecessary for former FBI Director James Comey to post the number on Instagram, but it was not a crime. Shame on Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, who now burnishes his reputation as a spineless Trump bootlicker.  Worth noting: The right-titling Free Press says The Comey Indictment Has Already Backfired...Goldfist: A 15-foot gold statue of President Trump was just installed at the Trump National Doral golf course ahead of the PGA’s Cadillac Championship beginning tomorrow in Miami. The statue depicts Trump triumphantly pumping his fist in the air immediately following the assassination attempt of The Donald in July 2024.  It’s expected the statue will still be on the grounds when the G-20 Summit takes place at the Doral in December.
