TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! In case you were wondering, TheRighting is endorsing Kamala Harris for president...That was quite a nauseating rally Trump held at Madison Square Garden yesterday.  I  haven’t felt that sick to my stomach since eating a Big Mac with onions. To paraphrase the late great Texas pundit Molly Ivins, covering Pat Buchanan’s abhorrent 1992 GOP convention address: It sounded a lot  better in the original German…Comic Tony Hinchcliffe was the worst of the rally’s speakers with his racist routine.  Here’s just one sample: “These Latinos, they love making babies too.  There’s no pulling out. They don’t do that. They come inside, just like they did to our country.” (Read full transcript of his speech.) I agree with the National Review’s assessment that Hinchcliffe didn’t do Trump “any favors”…I watched the rally at the ultra-right RSBN.  The stream was sponsored by The Wellness Company that hawks Ivermectin, which the Right has embraced as a drug to combat the effects of Covid-19, despite respected medical opinion, such as the Mayo Clinic which warns the drug  could cause serious harm...Tucker Carlson’s vile comments about Democrats needing a spanking from big daddy Donald Trump managed to even trigger the Baptist News. The fundamentalist news outlet’s publisher Mark Wingfield posted an opinion piece under the provocative headline: Tucker Carlson is a danger to American families.  “Taken as a metaphor for Trump returning to the White House, it’s clear Carlson is endorsing Trump’s pledge to weaponize the Justice Department and courts to go after his own political enemies. They are the ones who need to be spanked hard by Daddy Donald,” writes Wingfield…Last Week’s Craziest Headline: Townhall’s The Media Are the Scum of the Earth. The Fourth Estate may not be perfect, but scum?  Memo to Townhall: you’re part of the media…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Dept. of No Surprises: The Rupert Murdoch-owned NY Post just endorsed Donald Trump for president. “Many find him offensive — and we say fair enough: He can be ridiculously hyperbolic,” the editors write about Trump’s history of unhinged, dictatorial behavior, as if these are mere eccentricities and not the personality disorders of someone who continues to threaten our democracy. “But before Covid wreaked havoc across the globe, Trump’s first-term results were paychecks that grew markedly faster than inflation, the lowest unemployment in 50 years, a secure border and peace overseas”…Just published:  Bulletproof: The Truth About the Assassination Attempts on Donald Trump by alt-right conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec. The  looney tome’s subhead tells you all you need to know:  “How a shot meant for Donald Trump took out Joe Biden.” Worth noting: Don Jr. wrote the forward…Brace yourself Manhattanites:  The Donald’s Madison Square Garden rally this Sunday will feature an alt-right superstar. Tucker Carlson, the fired Fox News squawking head, told RedState  he’ll be joining his Supreme Leader onstage…Weekend Watch:  I Am Not a Monster.  Sounds like a creepy Halloween tale, but it’s not.  The two-part Max doc is an engrossing true crime examination of a sociopathic Minnesota woman who murdered her husband, went on the lam to Florida, where she killed again.  Set primarily in the bleak, snow-blown Midwest, it gives off serious “Fargo” vibes. Skillfully directed by Erin Lee Carr, daughter of the  late, legendary NY Times media reporter David Carr….If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Trump Is Winning the Likability Race

source: The American Conservative

Democrats insist Donald Trump is Hitler. But much to their chagrin, there’s a recognizable and even likable human being there, however flawed.

Could Black Voters Win Trump the Presidency?

source: American Thinker

If you look at the data and run the numbers, you’ll see that it’s entirely possible... and likely.

Never Mind Kamala’s Tired Slur, Trump Is No Fascist

source: NY Post

By Rich Lowry: Harris has tended to make a case against Trump as a standard Republican who cares more for the wealthy, as unserious and as selfish. Now, in the final days of the campaign, she’s ramping it up to portray him as an American Mussolini.

Trump Isn’t Hitlering Enough to Help Kamala

source: PJ Media

By Stephen Kruiser: The Democrats and their flying monkeys in the mainstream media have been mentioning Hitler so often this year it almost seems as if he's on the ballot. I checked. He's still dead and not running for any office.

Dems Conjure the Resurrection of Hitler (Again)

source: American Spectator

Democrats got the “October” part right. Surprise? Hardly.

Who Wasn’t Hitler?

source: Powerline

Those of us who lived through their respective administrations know that, according to the left, just about every Republican president of the modern era has been Hitler. Nixon was Hitler. Reagan was Hitler. Bush (41) was Hitler. Bush (43) was Hitler. Trump was Hitler. Now Trump is Hitler again.

Vile and Desperate Dems Go Full Hitler Mode on Trump

source: SteveGruber.com

In the final stretch, Kamala Harris and her allies, who are in panic mode looking at their internal polling, are doubling down on their desperate tactics, throwing everything they can at Donald Trump, including Hitler comparisons and fascist claims. It’s a frantic, last-minute effort to rally their base by slinging mud, but it’s looking more like a circus than a campaign.

Playing the Führer Card

source: Wall Street Journal

There are many reasons to worry about how Mr. Trump might wield power in a second term. But the climb up the rhetorical dictator chain in the final stages of this election looks like a last-ditch Democratic strategy to save Ms. Harris from defeat.

Kamala Hires Hitler in His “Second Career”

source: European Conservative

One can’t help wondering what the endgame is in all this Hitler talk. Harris and her allies are playing with Trump's life. Surely they know that.

Kamala Isn’t Verbally Skilled Enough to Hide Her Extremism

source: The Federalist

Democrats, desperate to rid themselves of Biden’s communication failures, managed to pick someone worse.

CNN’s Town Hall Leaned into Boosting Kamala

source: NewsBusters

If Kamala Harris failed to “make the sale” on CNN, no one should blame CNN. They gave her a blandly promotional platform to smear her opponent as a fascist, then praised her afterward for her fervid fascist blather. Hating Trump defines CNN.

Kamala Is the Bigger Threat to the Constitutional Order

source: Townhall

Spend some time trying to decipher Harris' swirling, platitude-ridden, incoherent rhetoric and you will only be further convinced that we live in an idiocracy.

Kamala’s Plagiarism Fits Pattern of Profound Laziness

source: Washington Free Beacon

Media reports, including comments from her (many) former staffers, suggest that, in addition to being an abusive, self-absorbed boss, Harris is also profoundly lazy.

Bruce Springsteen’s “Kamala-Obama” Rally Concert Was Shockingly Bad

Well, Bruce Springsteen has officially become insufferable. Add him to the list. Sad!

Springsteen Won’t Save Kamala with the Working Class

source: DonaldJTrump.com

For Springsteen, it's a betrayal of his wannabe working class persona. In his endorsement video for Harris-Walz, Springsteen denigrated President Trump as a "dangerous" man. That's news to the people where Springsteen was born, raised, and still resides. They supported Trump in 2020. In his current hometown of Colts Neck, New Jersey, voters backed President Trump by a two-to-one margin.
