Greetings! Last night, Kamala Harris bravely ventured into the lion’s den – or rather Baier Cave – for a contentious interview with Fox News’s Bret Baier.  (See full interview here.) Opinions varied on who won the scrum.  I give Harris points for many of her feisty answers, still she stumbled a bit when Baier asked when she first noticed “that Joe Biden’s mental faculties appeared diminished.” The Veep ducked and weaved her way out of an answer and for a moment she was on back feet.  However, she wisely counterpunched, calling out Trump’s erratic behavior and her opponent’s threats of violence to go after “the enemy within.”  Dept. of No Surprise: Donald Trump called the Kamala-Fox sitdown a total, unmitigated disaster…The Donald appeared on a heavily staged Fox News town hall with female supporters earlier in the day. His biggest tell was referring to Alabama’s junior Republican Senator Katie Britt as a “young, fantastically attractive person.” Obviously, the convicted sex offender judges women by their appearance more than anything else…And as long as we’re on the topic of appearances, now is a good time to note that lately Mr. Trump has been looking quite shop-worn. His hurricane hairdo has developed a mind of its own. His  posture is more sloped than ever as if the weight of his lies is crushing his skeletal system, making his signature blue suit seem two sizes too large…The Gateway Pundit has settled a defamation lawsuit filed by two Georgia election officials that erroneously accused them of fraud in the 2020 presidential election.  Terms were not revealed, but the two workers, Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss, have already won a nearly $150 million defamation judgment against fallen former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani for his BS ballot fraud claims. I Know You Are, But What Am I: : Donald Trump challenged Kamala Harris to pass a test on cognitive stamina and agility.  Here’s what The Donald wrote on X, “Her actions have led many to believe that there could be something very wrong with her”… Agree 100%: The American Conservative observes a noticeable “vibe shift” and upswing for the GOP since JD Vance’s strong debate performance…"The Apprentice,” the film about how a young Donald Trump was schooled in his evil ways under the tutelage of reptilian lawyer/fixer  Roy Cohn, tanked at the box office in its opening weekend, according to multiple reports.  While I expect the Right to reject the movie, it received a hearty thumbs up from a source of mine at a major conservative outlet who saw the film…Dept. of Bad News:  Turns out those feel-good stories about two young pandas who just arrived from China at DC's National Zoo have a dark side. The New York Times reports that in an effort to increase the population of the endangered species, zoos resort to artificial breeding which “has killed at least one panda, burned the rectum of another and caused vomiting and injuries in others.” And I naively hoped that the arrival of the cute animals would be the most uplifting news coming out of Washington this week…If  you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
