TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Kimberly Guilfoyle is in the spotlight today with news of her appointment as the new ambassador to Greece and rumors of a busted romance with Don Jr.  Pretty slick of dad to move Junior’s ex to the other side of the world where maybe she can snag a Greek shipping tycoon and stay far away from the family business.  However, our president-elect nonetheless posted a startling image on Truth Social featuring himself, Don Jr. and Ms. Guilfoyle wearing a slinky black dress with a plunging neckline exposing her ample bosom, and spiked high heels.  Not what one would expect from an incoming ambassador to a key NATO member…Speaking of ambassadorships, there was lots of chatter yesterday about flame-throwing MAGA-loyalist Kari Lake becoming Trump’s ambassador to Mexico. (Why do I feel like I ate a bad taco just by writing those words?) Thankfully, it didn’t come to pass.  The right wing blog Victory Girls must be  celebrating because they were surprisingly opposed to the idea.  “We might urge Trump to take a hard pass,” Toni Williams wrote yesterday.  “Trump has a big family and a ton of loyal friends. Surely there is someone, anyone, better positioned to move the Trump agenda forward with Mexico?”… Contributors to The Federalists listed some of their favorite books of the year.  They include: Lee Smith’s Disappearing the President: Trump, Truth Social, and the Fight for the Republic; The Man Who Would Be Queen, which attempts to debunk the concept that transgenderism is normal; and Edward Foley’s Ballot Battles: The History of Disputed Elections…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. He has proved that he can’t be trusted to handle the cold-blooded killing of Thompson, with all the political implications of his pro-criminal “reform” stance as well as the left-wing view of health insurance executives such as Thompson. Bragg is incredibly likely to botch this

Biden’s Sprint to the Finish Looks Like a Tortoise Race

The best we can hope is that Biden does not get us involved in another conflict, like Syria while packing his bags for Rehoboth. Maybe we can get him to use his unused vacation time before January 20th.

Biden Sucks and Pretty Much Everyone Admits It Now

When your presidency gets compared to Jimmy Carter’s, it’s never good. When those comparisons suggest your approval ratings are worse than Richard Nixon’s (even after resigning because of Watergate), it’s downright catastrophic.

Dems’ Preemptive Pardon Paradox

By Peter Navarro: The Democrats’ preemptive pardon gambit is a tacit admission of their partisan weaponization of America’s justice system. What should we, the people, do about this outrage?

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Smells like a grift to me.  Our president-elect is now hawking an official line of fragrances for men and women called “Fight, Fight, Fight.” You gotta hand it to Mr. Trump.  Only he could take an assassination attempt and turn it into a shameless marketing opportunity.  Both men’s cologne and women’s perfume sell for a jaw-dropping $199.  I shudder to think what they smell like…Construction is underway on a huge bronze statue of Donald Trump that will be two stories high upon completion. Veteran artist Alan Cottrill calls his work the “Patriot Statue” and says it’s his largest statue of the hundreds he’s created.  According to Breitbart, which purports to have the exclusive story and images, the statue “captures his iconic defiance in the wake of the assassination attempt.” It’s expected to be completed by the end of this year…Joe Biden is the worst president in modern history, according to a poll posted on Unleash Prosperity.  He ranks just below Nixon…Matt Gaetz, TV star!  The much-disparaged ex-politician and failed Trump pick for Attorney General may be joining the far-right One America News as an anchor, CNN first reported last night.  It's a big hire for OAN, but small step into obscurity for Gaetz. No word yet on when he starts…Townhall’s Derek Hunter celebrates what he perceives is the end of Hollywood.  He was apparently triggered by the flood of Golden Globe nominations yesterday for the film musical Emilia Perez, which is about a Mexican gangster who transitions to become a woman.  “On what planet does that movie appeal to anyone?” he writes…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
