TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Trump has done the near-impossible. He’s made us feel sorry for poor, picked-upon Harvard…Greenland, Canada, the Panama Canal, and now Chile? American Thinker wants Trump to “snatch” an important deep-water port in Chile that China allegedly is angling to control.…Phrase of the day: “harem drama.” That refers to the challenges of managing Elon Musk’s four women who together have given birth to at least 14 of the mega-billionaire’s children.  According to the Wall Street Journal, it’s just one of the many responsibilities of Musk wingman Jared Birchall…AOC all the way? NY Post columnist Isaac Schorr thinks that AOC is a legitimate contender for a strong White House run in 2028.  He cites a Yale University poll that names her as the most popular Democrat. “The enthusiasm she inspires on the left is matched only by that which Trump evokes on the right,” Schorr writes….The National Review throws shade at Secretary of State Marco Rubio for flubbing the government’s explanation for the case against Abrego Garcia.  “It is inconceivable that the secretary of state is unaware the man had a legal right against deportation to El Salvador that was enforceable in court,” the National Review states…News to me: For almost a year, the Daily Caller has been publishing a free, weekly newsletter cleverly named Mr. Right.  Its apparent goal is to “break the Left’s monopoly on advice columns.”  I just signed up and I’ll report back once I see a few issues…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. The Anti-Israel Left Now Wants to Target Cops

source: Daily Caller

If you thought the anti-Israel and antisemitic protesters of 2023 were only ever going to complain about the actions of a foreign government, think again. Far from backing down, two new studies show that the unsavory elements behind the pro-Hamas movement are now rebranding into a radical, violent, anti-police movement.

Bernie Sanders Spent $221K on Private Jets Amid “Fighting Oligarchy” Tour

source: Washington Free Beacon

Campaign expenditures released Tuesday and reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show Sanders's main campaign committee, Friends of Bernie Sanders, spent $221,723 chartering private jets during the first quarter of 2025, with the first payment coming just days before the launch of his tour in February.

83-Year-Old Communist Is Celebrated as the New Face of the Trump Resistance

source: SteveGruber.com

Sen. Bernie Sanders took to the stage at Coachella recently to decry the evils of oligarchy in front of a crowd that paid at least $600 for the privilege of being there. This is the same Bernie who owns three homes and has been a fixture in politics for over half a century. For some reason he decided that a luxury music festival was the perfect venue to rally against the billionaire class.

He’s secured the border. He now has a chance at a larger immigration legacy.

The Trumpster Is Making Showering Great Again

source: SteveGruber.com

Lather up, America. The low-pressure tyranny of Obama-era water rules just got the boot, and Trump is here with a loofah in one hand and freedom in the other. In a bold executive order recently, the president declared war on wimpy water flow, targeting “eco-friendly” nonsense.

Gayle King Compares Herself to an Actual Astronaut After Blue Origin “Mission” to Space Gets Slammed

source: MegynKelly.com

The narrative surrounding this trip was one of “female empowerment,” but Megyn Kelly did not see much to celebrate. “I don’t feel empowered. If there had been six female astronauts going up, then, yes, okay,” she said. “But what did these women do? The one gal is engaged to a billionaire, and these are a bunch of celebrities she wanted to befriend.”

Climate Myths

source: John Stossel

I guess  the  UN Secretary-General didn’t think his hyping global warming risks brought him enough attention, so now he says, “The era of global boiling has arrived!” Give me a break. Yes, the climate is warming. We can deal with that. What annoys me is politicians, activists and media pushing hysterical myths.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Donald Trump’s ham-fisted attempt to run Harvard University, received a failing grade from the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board.  Simply put, per the editors, “many of his demands on the school exceed his power.” My two cents: Trump’s targeting of elite educational institutions is starting to feel more and more like a war on thought, especially since the Trump administration wants to require Harvard to have “viewpoint diversity"…Joe Biden gave his first formal speech this week since leaving office, and The Gateway Pundit erroneously thinks it went sideways. During the presentation to the national conference of Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled, he referred to Black children as “colored kids.” Naturally, Trump posted a 14-second clip of the speech on Truth Social. HOWEVER, Biden said in his speech that back in the day when he went to grade school, Black children were referred to as “colored kids.” Worth noting: The Washington Free Beacon blasted his speech but not for his word choices. The headline and subhead called him “geezer” and “crotchety”…Good question! Newsmax columnist Susan Estrich wonders where in the world is George W. Bush.  “America needs its former presidents to speak out about the abuse of presidential power that this president is engaged in,” she wrote. “But most of all, we need to hear from former President George W. Bush. He is, sadly, the only Republican with the gravitas and the standing to say no to Trump and his best friend Elon Musk”…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Harvard Had It Coming

source: The Free Press

That doesn't mean Trump is right. Any sympathy for Harvard has to be tempered by the knowledge that the school—and others like it—brought much of their current predicament on themselves.

Harvard Is Fighting Back Harder Against the Trump Administration Than It Ever Fought Antisemitism

source: Fox News

Where was Harvard’s fierce resolve when swastikas and antisemitic stickers were plastered near Harvard's Hillel? Or when a Harvard employee was filmed ripping down posters of Israeli hostages, including those of the slain Bibas babies?

Trump Is Teaching Harvard a Great Lesson

source: Victory Girls

Harvard loves the money they get for educating the children of Middle East potentates, among others. They are not being brave or strong or standing up for First Amendment rights. They just aren’t used to the pushback. Harvard and the other Ivies love the grift.

Trump Makes Holy Week Holy Again

source: Association of Mature American Citizens

In an increasingly secularized culture, Trump’s bold proclamation of Christian truth stands as a defiant reaffirmation of America’s spiritual roots – unapologetically elevating the name of Jesus Christ from the highest office in the land.
