Greetings! CNN is taking incoming fire for “pointing the finger at Trump” for the fatal DC air crash, according to RedState…The NY Post put a heavy  hammer to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s shoddy testimony at yesterday’s Senate confirmation hearings.  In an opinion piece in the Rupert Murdoch-owned outlet, RFK Jr. was labeled a “charlatan” who lied his way through the hearing.  The NY Post op-ed took a shot too at the entire Kennedy clan. “As you might expect of any Kennedy,” wrote Isaac Schorr, “his answers were full of obfuscations, half-truths, and outright lies”…Vile right wing conspiracy theorist and Infowars honcho Alex Jones stated that’s he’s been invited to the White House next week, presumably for a White House press briefing.  That would be a bridge too far, even for the Trump administration. (Infowars)…Melania’s official White House portrait continues to take flak.  Yesterday, I reported on two right wing outlets that trashed the black & white photo.  Now, fashion bible Vogue has weighed in with a double dose of snark. “The choice to wear a tuxedo—as opposed to a blazer or blouse—made Trump look more like a freelance magician than a public servant,” sniffed Vogue’s Hannah Jackson. “It’s perhaps unsurprising that a woman who lived in a gold-encrusted penthouse, whose fame is so intertwined with a reality-television empire, would refuse to abandon theatrics—even when faced with 248 years of tradition.”  Don’t expect to see FLOTUS gracing Vogue’s cover anytime soon…According to TheRighting’s exclusive research, over the last four  years, 21 major news sites, both leaning left and right, saw serious audience declines in the past four years. Greetings! Caroline Kennedy took direct aim at Robert F. Kennedy Jr.  The daughter of John F. Kennedy labeled her cousin a “predator”  and urged the Senate to kill his nomination. In addition, cousin Caroline, who has served as ambassador to Japan and Australia, stated that RFK Jr.  is “addicted to power and attention.”  I fear that Caroline Kennedy’s powerful statement ultimately won’t have the weight in the bizarro MAGA-world.  Still, I applaud her speaking truth to power.  She would fit right in her dad’s1957 Pulitzer-prize-winning book Profiles in Courage that focused on eight senators who stood up for  their beliefs, regardless of the consequences. If there’s a heaven, her father, mother and brother are smiling down on her today.…Toni Williams of the Victory Girls blog is no fan of the just-unveiled black-and-white photo portrait of the First Lady.  Williams  points out that it makes FLOTUS look too powerful.  “This photograph screams Girl Boss!” wrote Williams.  The Victory Girls author is also critical of the soft-focus Washington Monument background looming over Melania’s shoulder.  “Does anyone want to talk about the giant phallic symbol?” asks Wsilliams. “Maybe Melania is sending a don’t EFF with me message.”   America Thinker also threw shade on the photo for placing Melania in “a toxic masculinity posture”…Who saw all of Karoline Leavitt’s White House debut press briefing yesterday?  While Trump’s newly minted press secretary displayed  a glib  confidence, her performance had a creepy cult-like vibe that was amplified  by her prominently displayed shiny cross.
