TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Has Bill Belichick done the impossible and replaced Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth as the most-mocked person in America? The ornery 73-year-old NFL coaching legend’s book (The Art of Winning) drops tomorrow and all  anyone wants to talk about is his 24-year-old girlfriend. In this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” open,” Belichik was targeted in a skit featuring James Austin Johnson portraying Donald Trump signing an executive order making it socially acceptable for a man in his 70s to date a 24-year-old. (See YouTube video at the 2:15 mark)…Over the weekend, Trump wrote a Truth Social post calling for 100% tariffs on all movies produced outside the U.S. (Deadline). The Donald said that films made in foreign lands are a “security threat.” Does that mean the “Peaky Blinders” movie, starring Oscar-award-winning Cillian Murphy, which just wrapped in the U.K., is putting our nation at peril? Will “Dune Messiah,” where production begins this September in Hungary, get a tariff pass because Trump is best buds with the country’s autocrat-in-chief Viktor Orbán?…The National Review slams Trump over his tariff policies likely to result in a dearth of affordable toys and dolls made in China. “Donald Trump must be the first president in history to say that his policies will deprive American children of toys,” wrote editor Rich Lowry…Popular right-wing podcaster Matt Walsh wonders why all Washington warmongers are “secretly gay.” (WND)…Prolific conservative commentator and thought-leader Dennis Prager suffered a near-fatal fall in November and is paralyzed from the neck down (PJ Media)…If  you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Disney’s “Snow White” Flopped Again Over Mother’s Day Weekend

source: Breitbart

The Disney Grooming Syndicate decided to give Normal People a gift over the Mother’s Day by setting up its dreadful live-action Snow White remake to flop all over again.  Over the weekend, in the obvious belief that enough Americans hate their mothers enough to subject them to this artistic abomination, Disney expanded Snow White to an additional 1,020 theaters.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! I have a dark theory why Mike Waltz took the fall yesterday for the Signalgate fiasco instead of Pete “Hair Gel” Hegseth.  My spidey-sense tells me that Trump’s end game is to declare martial law once the demonstrations grow in numbers and ferocity over the next 18 months.  He will then call on the military to maintain “order” under a provision in the Insurrection Act. Then the military, under Hegseth’s command, will follow orders.  Hegseth owes his undeserved status and power completely to Trump and he will carry out the orders without hesitation…David Horowitz, conservative icon and editor of FrontPage has died. He was a radical leftist who famously and publicly turned staunch conservative (Daily Signal and NY Times).  Worth noting: His son Ben is a partner in the powerful Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz…Foxnews.com continues to occasionally feature Dem politicians writing in its opinion pages.  Two days ago it published an op-ed by Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) who called for the end of the corruption that he said marked Trump’s first 100 days. Other prominent Dem pols whose views have been featured on the widely read conservative website include Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Illinois Governor JD Pritzker, according to Mediaite. Worth noting: Foxnews.com has op-eds today from Secretary of Everything Marco Rubio and Kellyanne Conway…Weekend watch: I need something calm and soothing, so today I’m recommending the Poppy the Pygmy Hippo Cam coming to you live from the Richmond, VA, zoo…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
