Over the weekend, Donald Trump chatted with conservative podcaster Sharyl Attkinsson.  The 35-minute friendly interview can be heard on Attkinsson’s website…A reporter for the conservative Free Press visited Trump Tower recently to observe a singles party for MAGA-supporters who are looking for love in all the right and right-leaning places.  Here’s the inside dope….American Greatness reports that several right wing influencers have been “swatted” recently. They include Infowars’ Chuck Geiser, talk show host Joe Pags and Trump impersonator Shawn Farash…The Progressive’s Definitive Guide to Surviving Another Trump Presidency provides coping tools over the next 46 months.  This slim 136-page book published last month already feels outdated…Only 453 days till Trump turns 80 and he seems more addled every day. In recognition of that milestone date and as a daily reminder that the United States has a faltering near-octogenarian as president, I’ve added a Trump 80^th birthday ticker to the top right corner of TheRighting’s website and at the bottom of this newsletter…Governor Josh Shapiro (D-PA) turned in a  paint-by-the-numbers appearance at the top of HBO's  “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Friday night.  Instead of coming off as a compelling 2028 presidential candidate who could lead Democrats out of the wilderness, Shapiro spouted yawn-inducing talking points that offered little in the way of inspiration. Illegal aliens have been warned to leave the United States in a chilling 30-second TV spot that aired on my local news program yesterday featuring Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem. “President Trump has a clear message. If you are here illegally, we will find you and we will deport you,” she hissed. “You will never return. But if you leave now, you will have an opportunity to return and enjoy our freedoms”…The Count of Mar-a-Lago slammed the Wall Street Journal with a Truth Social post last night. “The Globalist Wall Street Journal has no idea what they are doing or saying,” Trump wrote. “They are owned by the polluted thinking of the European Union, which was formed for the primary purpose of ‘screwing’ the United States of America”…Speaking of the WSJ, there's more Trump trashing from its historically right-leaning op-ed section.  Trump Tariffs Have McKinley Turning in His Grave shouts today’s headline, which noted that the 25^th president used tariffs for trade expansion.  “The 47^th is going backwards”…Here’s the skinny on The Donald's weight loss, per Sean Hannity. The Fox News gabfest host “revealed” that the 30-pound loss is due to the president eating hamburgers without the buns, reported the Daily Beast. What fool will swallow that BS? My guess? Ozempic!  (not that there’s anything wrong with it)…My favorite headline of the day, courtesy of the humor site The Onion: “RFK Jr. Vows to Make Measles Deaths So Common They Won’t Be Upsetting Anymore.” Too much truth in that satirical story to get a laugh out of me…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
