TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! And welcome to Pride Month.  Here’s an original take on the January 6 insurrection that seems especially appropriate for the start of the rainbow month.  One of the hosts of the comedic  “Subway Takes” YouTube channel proclaims J6 was the gayest thing he ever saw.  In the latest segment, he says, “You’ve got all these men standing around the Capitol.  A lot of them shirtless in costumes and face paint.  That’s a gay pride parade.”  Hahahahahaha! Well said.  He also believes that Pride Month should only last a week, which is probably seven days too long for a certain Village People-fan demonically dancing in the Oval Office. Worth noting: The Victory Girls blog also has issues with the 30 days of celebration.  “The birth of this nation gets one day of celebration, LGBTQ+ gets a whole month,” wrote Darlene Click...Public broadcasting needs to do a better job proving its value in the court of public opinion.  So says long-time media thought-leader Stuart Brotman in this essay for Current.  Brotman lists four excellent messaging points that should be amplified on social media to make the pro-public broadcasting case.  His top suggestion: “Public broadcasting has set new standards in children’s news programs, drama, music, science and educational services”...Dept. of Good News: Netflix announced that the final season of the hit supernatural series Stranger Things begins November 26.  And the last episode drops December 31.  I know what I’ll be watching this New Year’s Eve...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Trump’s US Steel Deal Is a Win for America

source: Washington Examiner

Trump’s decision to green-light a restructured deal between US Steel and Japanese-owned Nippon Steel was a turnaround for him and perhaps for American manufacturing. The merger is a great deal for America because Nippon Steel has agreed to let the American company remain American-operated.

Trump’s Masterful Negotiating Saved an American Icon

source: Townhall

Trump proved his abilities as America’s “negotiator in chief” by greenlighting a merger between the iconic US Steel and Japan’s Nippon Steel Corporation. The deal will not only preserve existing American jobs but create new ones too, while pouring investment into the country and revitalizing America’s industrial base.

In post-apartheid South Africa, hopes for equality have decayed into racial vengeance, as black supremacists target white farmers amid silence from global elites.

Trump Isn’t Destroying Harvard

Harvard has destroyed itself. The Ivy’s embrace of leftist ideology, discriminatory admission practices, and fraudulent faculty has killed its prestige.

Christians Are Abandoning Wall Street for Gold

Faith-based IRA's surge as believers seek God-honoring protection. Many Christians view gold as a natural gift from God, created with inherent value that human systems cannot diminish.

George Floyd Is a False Hero of the Left

source: Conservative View from NH

You are not hearing much fanfare about the anniversary of a situation that was handled poorly, covered up with a sham trial,  and the elevation of Black Lives Matter to national prominence, where it would eventually be exposed as a Ponzi scheme for a few to make a fortune at the country’s expense.

Derek Chauvin Trial Judge Amplifies the Obvious Injustice

The first interview with judge Cahill only confirms that the Chauvin trial was a throwback to the days when race trumped justice.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! More Pride Month backlash (and it’s not even June yet). The Daily Caller dropped a snarky article pointing out that Washington’s Reagan National Airport is celebrating Pride Month “amid recent safety concerns following a deadly crash and other incidents.” The subtext?  The airport is spending more time promoting Pride Month than on safety...Elon Musk saw the handwriting on the White House wall and knew it was time to get out of DOGE. Trump is holding a press conference today at 1:30 EST to acknowledge the erratic gazillionaire’s selfish service to our nation.  Worth noting: NY Times’ Michelle Goldberg has an insightful column detailing  Musk’s reign of terror and error. Her most recent op-ed cites his legacy of “disease, starvation and death.” I’m with Goldberg on this DOGE damage assessment...Dept. of Corrections: Yesterday I erroneously wrote that RFK demanded that government-funded scientists not publish their research in several respected medical journals. I should have written that he threatened to prevent them from publishing...Weekend Watch: The Netflix three-parter The Tylenol Murders looks back at the 1982 deaths of seven people from taking cyanide-laced Tylenol capsules. The horrifying whodunnit tale had me hooked from the first frames (the murderer has never been found). Check it out and if you have a headache afterwards, my advice is to reach for an Advil...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Anyone Ripping Elon Musk for DOGE Is a Terrible American and Unhinged

source: Outkick

The liberals are way too excited about Elon Musk exiting his role within the Trump Administration. Make no mistake about it, these loony libs would rather have their hard-earned tax dollars continued to be abused by our government than dare give Elon Musk any credit whatsoever as we continue to live in a bizarro world.

Congress Must Ensure DOGE’s Work Not Done in Vain

source: Newsmax

The brief DOGE experiment, which uncovered tens of thousands of combined government contract and grant terminations that would shock the conscience of most Americans with any inclination toward sound fiscal stewardship, is proof that such a "woke and weaponized bureaucracy" isn't merely speculative — it really exists.

Columbia Investigates Student for Criticizing Transgenderism

Following complaints, Columbia University’s Office of Institutional Equity recently confronted graduate student Daniel Di Martino for comments he made on social media expressing his Catholic beliefs and criticizing transgenderism. Di Martino told The Fix the matter is now closed — but only after he went public.

Take Down Harvard, But Team Trump Must Do It the Right Way

The administration’s heavy-handed tactics threaten its reformist intentions

The Trump Administration Shouldn’t Stop with Harvard

source: Washington Examiner

Last week’s cowardly murders of two Israeli Embassy staff members by a man shouting “free, free Palestine” are not an isolated tragedy. It is the inevitable result of a campus culture that has mainstreamed hatred, glorified violence, and normalized antisemitic incitement. Nowhere is this rot more concentrated than in the rarefied air of the Ivy League

Trump Is Emasculating the Deep State

source: WND

Trump could shut down the NSC entirely and nothing would be missed. The Deep State no longer protects Americans against foreign enemies, but instead protects the bureaucracy against the will of the American People.
