TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! More Pride Month backlash (and it’s not even June yet). The Daily Caller dropped a snarky article pointing out that Washington’s Reagan National Airport is celebrating Pride Month “amid recent safety concerns following a deadly crash and other incidents.” The subtext?  The airport is spending more time promoting Pride Month than on safety...Elon Musk saw the handwriting on the White House wall and knew it was time to get out of DOGE. Trump is holding a press conference today at 1:30 EST to acknowledge the erratic gazillionaire’s selfish service to our nation.  Worth noting: NY Times’ Michelle Goldberg has an insightful column detailing  Musk’s reign of terror and error. Her most recent op-ed cites his legacy of “disease, starvation and death.” I’m with Goldberg on this DOGE damage assessment...Dept. of Corrections: Yesterday I erroneously wrote that RFK demanded that government-funded scientists not publish their research in several respected medical journals. I should have written that he threatened to prevent them from publishing...Weekend Watch: The Netflix three-parter The Tylenol Murders looks back at the 1982 deaths of seven people from taking cyanide-laced Tylenol capsules. The horrifying whodunnit tale had me hooked from the first frames (the murderer has never been found). Check it out and if you have a headache afterwards, my advice is to reach for an Advil...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Congress Must Ensure DOGE’s Work Not Done in Vain

source: Newsmax

The brief DOGE experiment, which uncovered tens of thousands of combined government contract and grant terminations that would shock the conscience of most Americans with any inclination toward sound fiscal stewardship, is proof that such a "woke and weaponized bureaucracy" isn't merely speculative — it really exists.

Columbia Investigates Student for Criticizing Transgenderism

source: The College Fix

Following complaints, Columbia University’s Office of Institutional Equity recently confronted graduate student Daniel Di Martino for comments he made on social media expressing his Catholic beliefs and criticizing transgenderism. Di Martino told The Fix the matter is now closed — but only after he went public.

Take Down Harvard, But Team Trump Must Do It the Right Way

The administration’s heavy-handed tactics threaten its reformist intentions

The Trump Administration Shouldn’t Stop with Harvard

source: Washington Examiner

Last week’s cowardly murders of two Israeli Embassy staff members by a man shouting “free, free Palestine” are not an isolated tragedy. It is the inevitable result of a campus culture that has mainstreamed hatred, glorified violence, and normalized antisemitic incitement. Nowhere is this rot more concentrated than in the rarefied air of the Ivy League

Trump Is Emasculating the Deep State

source: WND

Trump could shut down the NSC entirely and nothing would be missed. The Deep State no longer protects Americans against foreign enemies, but instead protects the bureaucracy against the will of the American People.

Trump, Take the Win! The Court Gave You a Way to Stop Terrible Tariffs

source: NY Post

The president should allow this obscure, but important trade court — the International Court of Trade — have its day in the sun and move on with more pressing matters, like deregulation and drilling, which has created more jobs than those shirt factories lost to China.

Woke Leftists Are Stronger Than Ever

source: Daily Caller

We still have the deep state, the leftist cultural industry and educational system, the MSM, and massive leftist voting blocs weighing down on us.

America Is Under the Control of a Left-Wing Immigration Policy

source: American Thinker

The left’s love affair with illegal immigrants is killing the West.

It’s Not Easy Being Michelle Obama

source: Victory Girls

If there wasn’t a moment in time where Michelle Obama proved to the world how insufferable she really is, then, that time is now. Michelle went on the record on her flop podcast to say that is SO HARD to be married to a famous man. The perils of being married to the messiah are real. This is “real-world” struggle for Michelle Obama.

Black Women in Charge: Profiles in Umbrage

There’s never a shortage of jobs for black women accusing everyone else of racism

Goodbye to Racial Quotas in Federal Contracts

One of Trump’s successes is cleaning up the racial spoils system.

Kennedy Creating Seismic Shifts in Health Policy

source: Daily Signal

While Kennedy’s first 100 days have sparked both optimism and controversy, he has undeniably set a new tone at HHS, one that is focused on prevention, innovation, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. And that’s exactly what America needs.

The Press Rediscovers Its Outrage Over Presidential Pardons

source: The Federalist

The media doesn’t oppose presidential pardons; they just oppose them when they don’t agree with them.

The Sexual Revolution Enslaved Us

source: Blaze Media

As Christians, we must resist the temptations surrounding us on every screen and scroll. We must see how broken the porn industry is — and how broken it makes those who produce and consume it. Pornography and casual sex will never satisfy.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Acronym of the Day:  TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out, when it comes to tariffs).  USA Today explains the term and why Wall Street traders have embraced it.  PS. I know what I’m having for lunch today!...Adios to Elon Musk who announced he’s leaving the Trump administration.  Anyone sorry to see him go?...Right-wing media has ”60 Minutes” correspondent Scott Pelley in its crosshairs for his recent commencement speech at Wake Forest University.  During the address, Pelley warned that “our sacred rule of law is under attack. Journalism is under attack. Universities are under attack. Freedom of speech is under attack.” The NY Post described his speech as “unhinged.” The New Republic has published the full transcript of the 25-minute speech...This sickens my stomach. Health and Human Services chief Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., has demanded government-funded scientists not publish  their research in respected  medical journals such as Lancet and The New England Journal of Medicine.  The unhinged HHS Supremo says such periodicals  are “corrupt” tools of big Pharma.  Kennedy says the government might launch  its own publication. My suggested title: Quack.  Politico and The Washington Post have stomach-churning details...Tough question: who’s the most dishonest person in Trump’s White House other than you-know-who?  It’s Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, opines Stop the Presses’ Mark Jacob who describes a blatant lie as a “Lutnick.”  The Commerce Secretary gets the nod because he “cheerfully and enthusiastically showers snake oil on our country.” My vote goes to Pete “Hair Gel” Hegseth,  but he’s got mucho competition in  the race to the bottom...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Time for a “Big Beautiful Deal” for Greenland

source: The American Conservative

“Commerce, not chaos” is the president’s preferred foreign policy. He should act on it and build his legacy in Greenland.
