TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Divorce him already, Usha. That’s the head-snapping title of the provocative article Salon dropped earlier this week urging the second lady to divorce VP JD Vance. “Megan McCain hosted Usha Vance for what should have been the softest of softball interviews, focused on what life as second lady is like,” wrote Salon’s Amanda Marcotte. “Vance clearly understood her assignment was to make it all seem like a great time — that leaving her career as a high-powered attorney to spend her days doing sub-Melania Trump public appearances about dull topics like the importance of reading for kids. But her acting chops weren’t up to it. Instead, audiences were treated to a one-hour hostage video, as the increasingly desperate McCain tried to get Vance to feign interest in her own life.” Ouch... Jon Stewart for president?  That’s not a joke.  It’s the headline of journalist Mehdi Hasan’s article in his Zeteo newsletter.  “Yes, part of me wants Stewart to stay in comedy, to continue as the host of ‘The Daily Show’ and ‘The Weekly Show’ where he educates and entertains, and platforms vital voices,” Hasan wrote. “And part of me would love to see Stewart primary the Kushner-confirming, crypto-backing, genocide-supporting, war-criminal-hugging, AIPAC-texting Cory Booker in his home state of New Jersey next year. But part of me now also thinks Stewart should consider running for president in 2028.” Yeah, well part of me is getting tired of pundits speculating about hyper-articulate celebrities like Stewart and ESPN’s Stephen Smith who might be right for the Oval Office...I’ve just released new research about the White House Wire, the Drudge-Report-like mini-aggregation newsletter featuring good news about the Trump administration. It ignored Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal in July after the Journal published details of a bawdy Trump birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003.  But the White House Wire showered the Murdoch-controlled Fox News with 29 links in July, more than any other outlet...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Mrs. Vance exudes calm and beauty. However, she is married to an evil Republican/Vice President so she must be attacked until she succumbs to the pressures of The Elite Life Police.

White House Wire Ignores WSJ in July, But Showers Fox News with Links

source: A Righting Research Exclusive

The White House Wire (WWW) disregarded the Wall Street Journal in July, after the respected news outlet published coarse details about a birthday note it claimed Trump sent in 2003 to financier Jeffrey Epstein. According to TheRighting’s exclusive research, the WWW didn’t link once to the Journal in July

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Trump continues to insult powerful woman of color. It appears like he often can’t tolerate successful Black, Hispanic or Muslim women so he feels compelled to demean them. Consider this social media post from yesterday. “Jasmine Crockett is a Low (Very!!!) I.Q. Individual, much in the mold of the AOC Plus Three Gang of Country-Destroying Morons - Only slightly dumber.” This is classic racist language, positioning people of color as intellectually inferior.  It’s not a dog whistle.  It’s a straight up siren...Is the Trump-Epstein story losing steam?  That’s what I’m beginning to read in right-wing media this week (see stories in Townhall and The Gateway Pundit). And as all eyes turn to Alaska and DC in the coming days, it’s likely that the Epstein story will consume less of the media’s interest...Right-wing looney and Trump whisperer Laura Loomer is taking flak from the right.  Victory Girls calls her “an unhinged clown.” Can’t disagree....Over the weekend, the Wall Street Journal profiled Cheryl Hines, known to fans of HBO’s "Curb Your Enthusiasm" as Larry David’s long-suffered spouse.  In real life, she’s a fixture in Trumpworld, because of her marriage to vaccine-denier RFK Jr...Another thing to worry about:  In a letter to the editor of Delaware’s Bay to Bay News, Arthur E. Sowers fears that Trump might rename the country before the next election. “And he’s already had practice by naming the Gulf of America,” Sowers writes. “Just think, technically and legally, under the new name, all the applicability of our Constitution under the old name could be zeroed out.” Yikes! Hadn't thought of that...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Why Trump Won’t Get the Nobel Peace Prize

source: PJ Media

The modern Nobel Peace Prize is no longer neutral ground. The Norwegian Nobel Committee is appointed by Norway’s parliament, whose majority consistently leans toward European progressive politics. Within that worldview, Trump is not just controversial — he’s anathema.

Will the Nobel Committee Ever Get on Board the Trump Peace Train?

source: SteveGruber.com

Trump is setting the world on a path to peace. In just seven months of his second term, he’s reshaped the globe with a series of peace deals that have brought stability to regions long torn apart, laying the groundwork for prosperity for generations to come. If that’s not Nobel Peace Prize territory, then what is?

CNN’s Media Expert Mourns for Hamas Terrorist Killed by Israel

source: NewsBusters

CNN chief media analyst Brian Stelter dedicated the top of his Monday  “Reliable Sources” newsletter to shedding a tear and pouring one out for his journalist homies at Al Jazeera as they mourned for a colleague who was blown to bits by an Israeli airstrike. But here’s the thing, Anas Al-Sharif was a Hamas terrorist posing as a journalist

Meet the Late Al Jazeera “Journalist”

source: Powerline

You may be wondering just how popular a “journalist” he was. 564,000 followers on X, and 1.6 million on Instagram, to be exact. One can only imagine how many millions around the world were exposed to his propaganda in the past 22 months. As Daniel Rubenstein quipped after news of his death broke, “Hamas content creators are not journalists.”

Is the Epstein Story Dead?

source: Townhall

What we got is a bunch of nothingburger stories about how Donald Trump and the dead New York City financier, two rich guys, hung out with other wealthy and powerful people. Oh, let’s not forget that Trump and Epstein were photographed together, at a wedding, with 1,000 other guests.

CNN Says Epstein Story Has Become a “Nothingburger”

source: The Gateway Pundit

For a few weeks now, Democrats have been obsessing on the Epstein story, a topic that they had no interest in until the moment they thought it could be used as a weapon against Trump. The air is already leaking out of the issue, however. CNN data analyst Harry Enten noted that interest in the issue is way down. He even called it a political nothingburge
