TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! The Wall Street Journal’s reliably conservative editorial board mocks Donald Trump’s vendetta buffoonery in seeking indictments against FBI director James Comey and NY Attorney General Letitia James.  The headline frames it perfectly: The Gang That Couldn’t Indict Straight. And the op-ed’s lede delivers a punch in the administration's gut: “President Trump’s lawfare revenge tour has gone bust”...Sure to trigger the right: Justine Lindsay, the NFL’s first transgender cheerleader, claims she was fired from the Carolina Panthers for her sexual orientation. Lindsay says she’s working on a documentary about her professional pom pom life that will most likely never be available on Fox Nation. (Breitbart)...The Daily Caller has a “masculinity consultant” called Mr. Right. (It’s actually two editorial staffers writing as the consultant.) Here’s Mr. Right’s free newsletter...Speaking of the Daily Caller, it's aggressively promoting a Charlie Kirk documentary featuring folks who knew him “as the man behind the movement.”  Charlie Kirk: American Martyr is executive-produced by Neil Patel (no relation to embattled FBI director Kash Patel), the co-founder of The Daily Caller and Tucker Carlson's college roommate...Transportation Secretary and Trump administration cast member Sean Duffy thinks air travelers should dress up for trips and bring civility back to flying. The Gateway Pundit has the dress-for-success details....WND reminds readers that Ghislaine Maxwell attended Chelsea Clinton’s 2010 wedding in upstate New  York...POTUS, call the Truth Social tech department.  The site isn’t loading this morning. I keep getting a “Something isn’t right” message. Maybe it’s a reference to The Donald’s mental state...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

The Dems’ Reckless Call for Military Disobedience

source: Washington Examiner

Elected Democrats have every right, indeed, they have a duty, to conduct oversight over the president’s use of the military to defend the nation. But what they may not do is encourage service members to disobey orders they don’t like, and that is what six Dem politicians did last week. It was a disgraceful and foolish thing to do.

Just Imagine What We Could Do If the Democrats Weren’t Evil

source: Townhall

We have a lot of problems in this country, as we always have. But, just for a minute, picture if we had a political class interested in addressing those problems in a way that benefited as many Americans as chose to avail themselves of the opportunity to improve their lot in life?

Greedy Liz Warren and Affordability

source: Victory Girls

Hypocrisy is a given for Our Betters on the Left. Multi-millionaire and Congresscritter Elizabeth Warren takes it to new levels by hopping Zohran Mamdani’s Socialist party bus, yelling “eat the rich!”, and proposing Bigger Government to solve “affordability”.

Reports of DOGE’s Death Are Greatly Exaggerated

source: PJ Media

Despite the media’s best efforts to claim otherwise, the Trump administration hasn’t just tossed these principles aside. What’s actually happened is that they’ve woven them into the fabric of various government departments, pressing forward on the fight against bureaucratic bloat regardless.

Temple U. Shows DEI’s Ongoing Hold on Medical Schools

source: American Spectator

Temple University’s medical school sent an email this month announcing that its DEI office, the Office of Health Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, will become the more vaguely named “Office of Strategic Partnership in Healthcare Education and Resources.” The school made clear that this is just a rebrand for an office that will continue its equity-focused mission.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! The Odd Couple: Trump and NYC mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani had a little Oval Office bro-fest Friday afternoon.  Rather than being encouraged by their political duet, it left me feeling cynical.  They are both savvy politicians who know how to manipulate the masses.  For a brief moment in time, a truce may work for them. But I wouldn’t bet on this lasting much into the new year. Worth noting: David Marcus of Fox News thinks otherwise and believes the duo showed all Americans how to act with civility at Thanksgiving...Mar-a-Lago face: When it comes to plastic surgery, the GOP DC elite are favoring the puffy, artificial look that is now being called Mar-a-Lago face.  The Guardian names the MAGA big shots who have inspired this new look during Trump 2.0.  They include Kristi Noem, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Laura Loomer and even Matt Gaetz.  “(G)oing through these procedures is a calculated act of political deference to Trump’s preferred (and unnatural) beauty standards,” according to the Guardian. Worth noting: Dr. Scott Ennis, a plastic surgeon in Boca Raton, Florida, about 30 miles south of Mar-a-Lago, explicitly advertises “Mar-a-Lago face” in big, bold type on his website...After Marjorie Taylor Greene announced her January exit from Congress, she immediately rose to rank third in the race to become the 2028 GOP nominee.  That’s according to Polymarket, a prediction platform for bettors. WND has the details....Here’s a headline that finally made me agree with the right-wing sports website Outkick: Unicycles Aren’t Transportation, They’re a Cry for Attention...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. How to Survive a Liberal Thanksgiving

source: The American Conservative

This year is different in one important way. This year we won. No more Biden in the White House, no more Hillary, no more serial impeachments and Russiagate to get your cousin with the nose ring to predict Trump will be out of office in a few weeks. Nope, this is our turn, our guy in the Oval Office.

MTG Is Keeping It Weird Until the End

source: PJ Media

The Trump-haters will be feasting on this news for a while. Expect a lot of MSM drivel about MAGA being shattered or something. There are a lot of rumors that Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to be Georgia's next governor. We'll be hearing from her again.

Greene Is Gone

source: Townhall

Greene’s rushed resignation is all about spite. She is sticking it to the leadership and the rest of the conference for not having her back or taking her side. In the end, her motives are not MAGA, but really “Make Marjorie Taylor Greene Great Again.  That doesn’t work in politics which is a team sport.  You have to be a team player.

The MTG New Deal

source: American Spectator

Following her announcement last Friday evening that she will resign from the House, the media have discovered that Marjorie Taylor is an important political figure whose departure spells doom for MAGA. The reality is that Greene’s abrupt resignation is a sign that President Trump remains in control of the Republican Party.
