TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings!  Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson made her Broadway debut Sunday night in a feminist interpretation of William Shakespeare’s classic “Romeo and Juliet.” Brown Jackson appeared in two scenes in what’s being described in several outlets as an “LGBTQ musical.” It was a one-night-only performance for the liberal Supreme Court Justice, who fulfilled “a lifelong dream” to appear on Broadway. (RedState)…Last year 42% of U.S. households had at least one firearm, according to data collected by Ammo.com.  It was as high as 47% in 1990.  Montana leads all states with 64% of households owning some sort of gun.  Only 8% of Hawaii and New Jersey households are strapped.  The state of Wisconsin, where a 15-year-old teenage girl, killed herself and two others in a school shooting yesterday, has a household firearms ownership of 44%....Ponder this while you’re sipping your Christmas eggnog: there have been 323 school shootings this year, almost as many as  2023. (K-12 School Shooting Database)…Here’s an honor no one wants to win.  The Antisemite of the Year award goes to right wing commentator Candace Owens from the group StopAntisemitism. Comments Owens made about Jews in Hollywood and  the Holocaust were just some of the reasons why she received the “honor”….Does Jill Biden hate Kamala Harris? Blaze Media seems to think so and cites the First Lady’s Christmas “joy” speech as proof…In case anyone is wondering, I have not made the pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring and bend the knee…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Phrase of the week: Drones over New Jersey….Speaking of drones, WND’s lead article today speculates that the drones may be searching for a terrorist’s radioactive bomb and the Feds don't want to disclose for fear of scaring the public….Sign of the Trump times: The investment fund Azoria is launching an ETF that invests in every S&P 500 company except the roughly 30+ firms that hire on the basis of race and gender (NY Post)…Just the News CEO John Solomon, suggests Trump may create an alternative White House Correspondents Association for right-leaning news and opinion outlets including podcasters.  Also, Solomon posits a second press room is a possibility in the old Executive Office Building. (Christian Broadcasting Network)…The so-called war on Xmas continues:  Newcastle University in the UK  has instructed staff to use “winter break” in place of “Christmas vacation” which could surely trigger the right (The College Fix)…Double entendre? A Saturday headline in the Wall Street Journal read: “The Week CEOs Bent the Knee to Trump.” Here’s what I think the sly WSJ editors were really saying: “The Weak CEOs Bent the Knee to Trump”…Progressive Academy Award-winning documentarian Michael Moore takes flak from Hollywood in Toto for not condemning the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson…Conservative pundit Sharyl Atkisson has updated her list of media mistakes in the Trump era. She’s tallied 163 as of Saturday…Last week’s craziest right wing headline, courtesy of American Greatness: “Yes, It was a Landslide.” No it wasn’t…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. ABC’s decision to settle Trump’s lawsuit is a bad omen for fellow media companies CNN and NBCUniversal, which are also facing serious defamation lawsuits.

Trump Extends Winning Streak with Victory Over ABC, Stephanopoulos

The $15 million settlement between ABC News, George Stephanopoulos and Trump was cheered by those with basic objectivity and common sense, while the left again lost its collective mind in what has been a daily occurrence since the election on Nov. 5

The Trump Train Runs Over Stephanopoulos

source: PJ Media

After years of lying to try and keep Trump out of office, ABC now has to fork over millions for his legacy. It will be interesting to see if this settlement gets the Big Three network faux journalists to be less awful. It's too much to hope that they'll stop being biased. Maybe they can tell the truth once in a great while, however.

This is not just an attack on Hegseth with the intent to hurt his reputation, this is a direct affront to the principles of justice. Every false or unsubstantiated #MeToo claim leveraged for political gain dilutes the credibility of real victims.

Kamala Is Convinced America Needs Her Political Talents

source: FrontPage

They said we were racist for calling Kamala a “DEI” hire. It’s just reality. In what other universe does a presidential candidate lose catastrophically while taking much of her party down with her… and then ponder whether she should run for governor or president again?
