With Its Attack on The Federalist, NBC Embraces All-Out Political Activism

source: Washington Examiner

Washington Examiner

One of the largest and most powerful news organizations in the U.S. petitioned one of the largest and most powerful corporations in the world to demonetize a tiny website because it published allegedly problematic language. If this is not a violation of Google’s “Don’t be evil” corporate code of conduct, it is certainly a violation of the First Amendment principles which NBC News claims to honor and defend.

NBC News continued its streak of lacking journalistic integrity, principles, or basic values of civility and truth on Tuesday, working with a far-left group to lobby Google to demonetize The Federalist and Zero Hedge from their ad platform. Despite having been called out and ratioed to the moon, NBCNews.com cowardly engaged in stealth-editing after Google publicly chimed in.

Lockdowns, followed by riots, followed by autonomous zones, followed by more riots, followed by polls stating Biden leads Trump in the race for President. All of this, and we haven’t even had the political conventions yet. This Presidential race is going to be the most tumultuous in history, and we have George Soros to thank.

Amazon needs to sell stuff, and guess who some of Black Lives Matter’s biggest supporters are?  Young, white Millennial women who love Black Lives Matter. They have bought into the idea that America’s a racist nation. They’re filled with sympathy for African-Americans who may have never been discriminated against, who weren’t alive during slavery. But they are all-in.

Michelle Malkin: In the wake of the George Floyd incident in Minnesota and three weeks of riots, America is in the grips of a purported epidemic of white supremacist violence that harkens back to the Jim Crow era with noose-wielding Klansman lurking on every corner. Except that it's all a big fat lie.

Trashing Trump on Prime Time Television

There's no need to prejudge what John Bolton will say to ABC this Sunday night on prime time. But we can judge a long history of "tell-all" imbalance, from the publishing houses to the TV studios. Republicans are mercilessly dissected. Democrats are carefully protected.

Trump’s Impending Tulsa Triumph

American Spectator

Trump, can, should, and probably will point out that to the extent there is “systemic racism” afoot in American cities that leads to incidents like the one which befell the unfortunate Mr. Floyd, those cities are run almost exclusively by Democrat political machines like the one pushing Biden’s incompetent presidential campaign.

No Virus at Protests, But a Trump Rally Is Dangerous?

Be it Black Lives Matter, be it the new CHOP demilitarized zone — well, not demilitarized zone, whatever they’re calling this thing in Seattle — or an Occupy Wall Street rally. If that’s happening, you go there! You’re gonna be safe as you can possibly be. But let Trump think about a rally in Tulsa, and apparently the virus is gonna be well aware, and it’s gonna be lying in wait.

It takes a special kind of stupid to attend a mass rally during a pandemic, especially if you know you’re vulnerable to disease because of a previous medical condition. But de Blasio and Democrats across the country allowed these huge gatherings of humanity because it was politically advantageous for them to so so.

If You Cancel the White Men, What’s Left?

Not only does our national capital, Washington, bear the name of a lifelong slave owner, so does the capital of Missouri, Jefferson City. So does the capital of Mississippi, Jackson. So does the capital of Wisconsin, Madison. The capital of Ohio is Columbus. The capital of South Carolina is Columbia. Both are named for now-vilified Christopher Columbus whose statue still stands outside D.C.’s Union Station.
