To blame this violence on Trump because he's in office is like blaming him for the border wall not being erected fast enough. It's like blaming him for the economic slowdown caused by the coronavirus when, in fact, he has persistently tried, over strenuous Democratic obstruction, to sensibly and safely reopen our economy.

While the abuse from the New York Democrats against the NRA may be heinous, the organization is dropping the ball in its refusal to advocate for Rittenhouse. If they are unwilling to stand up for 2nd Amendment patriots when they need it the most, perhaps the organization ought to be disbanded.

Fox’s turn toward advocating violent right-wing vigilantism is a horrifying but natural evolution for the network. Its personalities have spent the last several months recklessly issuing dire warnings to their viewers, telling them that their lives are in jeopardy from racial justice protesters and that the Democratic leaders of cities facing civil unrest are refusing to protect them.

The truth is, players don't really care about this pandemic-interrupted season with fan-less playoffs. The purpose of their returning for the season was to put social justice first and actual basketball second.

The ridiculous thing here is that anyone involved with the NBA fancies themselves to be occupying any kind of moral high ground. The league is so in bed with communist China that players and coaches are afraid to say anything in support of Hong Kong’s anti-government protesters. It’s been embarrassing watching them kowtow to the ChiComs, especially during the Chinese bat-flu pandemic.
