TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Donald Trump and his right-wing media minions have a shiny new target to rage against for the foreseeable future: NYC progressive mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. Prepare for an ugly non-stop assault on Mamdani that may make MAGA media attacks on such relatively mainstream Dems as Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris seem tame in comparison....More good election night news: JD Vance’s half-brother, Cory Bowman, lost big in his bid to become the first Republican mayor of Cincinnati since 1971. Blaze Media called the Bowman defeat a “bloodbath”...Dept. of No Surprises: Lewis “Scooter” Libby, the disgraced ex-chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, has a glowing tribute to his late boss in the Wall Street Journal. “Dick Cheney was the most consequential vice president in American history,” Libby opined. “He was also one of our most successful defense secretaries, a respected congressional leader, the youngest-ever White House chief of staff, a corporate leader and a champion of conservative principles.” Worth noting:NewsBusters has a compilation of damning descriptions of Cheney’s time in power when he was routinely dubbed a war criminal...The Victory Girls blog is surprisingly (but justifiably) appalled that far-right extremist Laura Loomer landed press credentials for Pete “Hairgel” Hegseth’s Department of War.  “I hope Trump and Hegseth distance themselves from her soon. Many of us have contempt for her,” wrote Victory Girls’ Toni Williams, who also called Loomer “fruit loop city”...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Muslims Gloat Over Mamdani’s Victory

source: Breitbart

Islamic advocates are gloating over the election of a Muslim immigrant to the mayoralty of New York City. “America’s Mayor is an American Muslim Immigrant,” declared the Pakistani-born lawyer and journalist Qasim Rashid as he celebrated Zohran Mamdani’s win.

No, Mamdani Isn’t a “Third Worldist”

source: The American Conservative

The strong denunciations are driven by the understandable desire to paint Mamdani as a dangerous force in American politics. Calling him “woke” or a “radical leftist” doesn’t seem to cut it, so conservatives want to refer to him as something newer and more menacing. Enter the “Third Worldism” accusation.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Turning California right: The new west coast spawn of Rupert Murdoch’s NY Post, the California Post, has  made a major hire: Breitbart senior editor Joel Pollak has been tapped to lead the outlet’s op-ed section when the California Post  debuts early next year.  The prolific Pollak spent almost two decades at the MAGA-mouthpiece news organization where Steve Bannon was once the executive chairman.  Pollak joined Breitbart as in-house counsel and then briefly served as its top editor, per The Wrap. ...Speaking of the NY Post, the tabloid’s 95-year-old gossip columnist Cindy Adams was awakened a few nights ago by a phone call from Donald  Trump who I guess took a break from his obsessive posting on Truth Social to chat. Here’s her story...Tucker Carlson is drawing heat for platforming white supremacist and antisemite Nick Fuentes on his popular  podcast. Rick Lowry, the influential editor-in-chief of the National Review called Carlson a “self-avowed racist.” And the NY Post’s Doug Murray labeled him a “conspiracy kook.” Agree...In a review of ex-Joe Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s new book “Independent,” the Washington Free Beacon described it as “It is the worst political memoir ever written in the history of the English language. This is not hyperbole.” Ouch.... RIP former George W. Bush powerful vice president Dick Cheney.  For a brilliant satirical look at the controversial Cheney, check out the film Vice on Amazon Prime. It’s one of my favorite political films. Christian Bale soars as Cheney in an Oscar-nominated performance...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Do Republicans Have a Plan to Stop Democratic Socialist Mamdani from Being Sworn in If He Wins?

The idea, reportedly the brainstorm of the New York Young Republican Club, is to invoke Section 3 of the 14th Amendment against Mamdani, claiming his anti-ICE stance qualifies him as an insurrectionist.

New York mayoral race outcome will inevitably determine a just-in-time or all-too-late wake-up call to prevent Marxist ideology and control obsession from obliterating the vibrant economic and social character of our nation's largest and arguably most quintessentially multi-cultural city.

Democrats Have a Man Problem

By Kurt Schlichter: What do Democrats dislike about men and masculinity? Well, the men and masculinity parts. Somebody has to be to blame for the fact that everything they lay their soft, girlish hands on turns to Schiff. Normal men are as good a scapegoat as any
