Greetings! Time magazine’s Person of the Year should be slain right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.  So says the Washington Examiner....Cringe alert. At yesterday’s political rally at a casino (yes, a casino) in Mount Pocono, Penn., Trump alluded creepily to the physical characteristics of his 28-year-old press secretary Karoline Leavitt.  “That beautiful face and those lips that don’t stop like a machine gun,” he said. Here’s the video that was posted on X. Worth noting: At the same rally, Trump referred to his chief of staff Susan Wiles as Susan "Trump," according to the NY Times (7th graph)...Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) just unveiled a website highlighting what it terms are the worst criminal aliens arrested in the United States. The site includes the names, photographs and offenses of nearly one thousand people swept up by the DHS...Trump has been using Truth Social to promote the late Charlie Kirk’s new book “Stop, In the Name of God.” What’s noteworthy is that he’s encouraging his audience to buy the book at the conservative Winning Team Publishing (and provides a link) which was co-founded by Don Jr. The book is available “anywhere books are sold,” as Trump adds without providing links...The controversial full-length play “October 7” will be staged at DC’s Kennedy Center in January and Hollywood in Toto says it never would have been shown there before Trump was president. “This isn’t your Biden-era Kennedy Center,” writes editor Christian Toto of the play which features verbatim dialogue from Israeli survivors of the murderous attacks on October 7, 2023.  Worth noting: Toto refers to the Kennedy Center as “the Trumpian KenCen.” That's the first time I've seen it described that way...Rep. Greetings! Could a new Netflix movie centered on coal mining hinder the streaming giant’s $83 billion quest for Warner Bros Discovery?  “The Queen of Coal” centers on a trans woman with ambitions to work in the mines.  The fictional film, produced in Spain, drops domestically December 19.  The Daily Caller has an article quoting Gabriella Hoffman, director of the right-leaning Independent Women’s Center for Energy and Conservation, as saying, “Woke content like this could complicate potential merger talks with Warner Bros Discovery.” The Daily Caller piece offers statistics from a Concerned Women for America report claiming that 41% of kids’ shows on Netflix contain LGBTQ+ themes. Worth noting: Ultra-right YouTuber influencer Benny Johnson also seems royally annoyed about “The Queen of Coal.” He wrote on X that if Netflix buys Warner Bros, the LGBTQ agenda will rule the streaming universe.  “Cancel Netflix, block the deal, save the children,” he tweeted. When will Trump weigh in on this movie?...Bari Weiss’s The Free Press has an excerpt from Charlie Kirk’s new book Stop, In the Name God, which debuts today...Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) actually sounds sane now. Check out the fire-breathing MAGA acolyte’s perceptive NY Times op-ed where she calls out rampant congressional dysfunction.  She even says Nancy Pelosi was “a more effective House speaker than any Republican this century”...
