Foxnews.com Posts First Traffic Increase Since November 2020

March 25,  2022, New York, NY – Foxnews.com snapped its 14-month streak of year-over-year (YOY) monthly audience declines.  According to TheRighting’s exclusive analysis of February 2022 mobile and desktop traffic based on Comscore data, Foxnews.com grew its unique visitors to 81,771,000 in February 2022 from 80,921,000 in February 2021, which represented a 1% growth.  The last time Foxnews.com generated YOY growth was November 2020.

The Washington Examiner continued its downward audience slide as it registered a 39% loss in YOY February 2022 traffic. It was the 15th consecutive month of decreases for the once high-flying news outlet.

“Despite a robust news environment marked by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in late February, the majority of conservative websites experienced YOY declines in unique visitors,” said Howard Polskin, President and Curator, TheRighting.  “However the February 2021 news landscape was dominated by major domestic events  including the second impeachment of President Trump and the death of Rush Limbaugh which drove traffic. Audience performance in March 2022 should improve for most right-wing news outlets.”
