Greetings! Trump is working extra hard to spotlight his relationship with the Rev. Jesse Jackson who died two days ago. POTUS posted a dozen photographs on Truth Social of him with the charismatic civil rights leader and two-time presidential candidate. We get the message Mr. President. You were friendly with a Black man... Clever! “President Trump is unfit,” is the lead sentence in this Wall Street Journal op-ed, by Jack Butler. “Not for the office. But he is literally, physically out of shape. Americans shouldn’t emulate either his lifestyle or his health philosophy.” The headline also takes a dig at his weight and will surely give him heartburn: “Trump’s Fatness Speaks to His Fitness”... Flashback: I’m still reeling from Attorney General Pam Bondi’s overly hostile and completely evasive responses to questions at last week’s Congressional hearing about Jeffrey Epstein. Therefore, I’m posting a video  of the brilliant cold open from “Saturday Night Live” from  four months ago featuring Amy Poehler as the nasty AG...Bonfire of the Murdochs is a new book chronicling the dysfunction on the most powerful family in right-wing media. NewsBusters somewhat gleefully suggests that sales are tanking, citing a report that just over a thousand books were sold since its February 3 pub date...“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” was banned Monday by CBS from broadcasting the host’s interview with the Democrats' suddenly “It” politician of the moment James Talarico. Instead, the interview went off as scheduled and was posted to the show’s YouTube channel which you can watch here. Greetings! In the wake of  the Rev. Jesse Jackson’s death yesterday, Donald Trump, in a Truth Social post, heaped praise on the longtime civil rights leader. Trump noted he provided office space at a Wall Street Trump building for Jackson and his Rainbow Coalition.  Naturally, the MAGA-in-Chief used his tribute for self-aggrandizement and to take a dig at  “Barack Hussein Obama, a man who Jackson could not stand...Bondi bashing from the right: Plenty of pundits had harsh words for AG Pam Bondi’s unhinged Congressional testimony last week in response to questions about the Jeffrey Epstein files.  The right rogues gaggle includes Infowars’ Alex Jones, popular podcaster Megyn Kelly, online influencer Tim Pool, The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro, Newsmax’s Greg Kelly and vile America First podcast host Nick Fuentes.  Media Matters has even more names…Crazy contrast: The American Spectator applauds Bondi’s performance and suggests she could be on the 2028 GOP presidential ticket. Cue the gagging....After watching the “CBS Evening News with Tony Dokoupil” for five straight days, I was prepared  to say nice things about the newly installed anchor for headlining a newscast that finally featured objective reporting and newsworthy story selection after a rocky start. However, last Friday CBS announced that the newbie “Evening News” anchor will moderate the network’s “Things That Matter” town hall March 14 with JD Vance. I withhold judgement until after I see that prime-time program.
