Greetings! Kash Patel is on thin ice after celebrating in Italy yesterday with the U.S. Olympic hockey team after their gold medal win over Canada. The lens-loving FBI Director was seen guzzling champagne with the team post-victory triggering questions about why he was there and who paid for the trip. (Perhaps he’s distancing himself from the stalled Nancy Guthrie disappearance investigation???) Mediaite charged him with behaving more like a social media influencer than the head of the FBI. A mock headline in The Borowitz Report hilariously “reported” that he was rushed to a hospital after “the trauma of flying coach”...Looks like I’m not the only semi-fan of the “CBS Evening News” with Tony Dokoupil. Writing on his blog, former Time magazine senior editor and media maven Richard Zoglin, opines that the show is “quite watchable.” Not a rave, still not the MSM consensus slam of a suspected MAGA mouthpiece. In addition, Zoglin suggests audiences, as well as his media critic brethren, shouldn't shun the big three networks’ evening newscasts. “(T)hey are a rare island of calm in a chaotic, agenda-driven news environment.” I’m with Zoglin on this one too....The Wall Street Journal opinion editors once again slammed Donald Trump. Late Friday, they blasted the MAGA-in-Chief’s  juvenile rant aimed at the Supreme Court justices who overturned his wacky tariff policies. Not only did the WSJ say he owed Justices an apology, but the editors wrote that “it was arguably the worst moment of his Presidency.” So many “worst” moments, so little time to digest them all. Worth noting: Trump is so angry with the Supreme Court that he’s only going to refer to the country’s top judicial institution in lower case letters, according to this childish Truth Social post...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Newsom was allowed to rattle off a set piece that, far from addressing Bash’s question, attempted to gaslight viewers into believing that California’s unaffordability is a good thing due to the Democrat trifecta government’s many interventions.

Who’s paying close attention to the U.S. military buildup for a possible war with Iran?  In his latest column, Dan Froomkin of Press Watch has harsh words for the mainstream media. “Agog” at the coverage, Froomkin says the reporting has been, “stenographic, and feeble when it should be vigorously alerting the American people to how dangerous and counterproductive the war could be.” Worth noting: The American Conservative opposes U.S. military action against Iran. “Don’t do it, Mr. President,” cautions senior editor Andrew Day...FBI Director Kash Patel’s  Fox News op-ed  reads like a list of accomplishments on his Linked-In page.  Here’s the gist of what he wrote: America is safer today than a year ago...Obnoxious: Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr, posted a shirtless work-out video of him and Trump supporter Kid Rock. The looney vaccine denier HHS chief appears incredibly fit for a 70-year-old or even someone decades younger. Still, his look-at-me video fits his deserved image of an unhinged narcissist. Put your shirt on, put the camera away and stop being such a wack job. Children are dying of measles on your watch and you’re peacocking in the gym...Weekend Watch: Speaking of topless Kennedys, Love Story: JFK Jr and Carolyn Bessette is a soapy alternative to Olympic competition.  It’s wildly uneven but Paul Anthony Kelly (shirtless at times) and Sarah Pidgeon shine as the doomed, volatile couple.
