The Trump-endorsed Teixeira won the GOP primary and is considered a lock to win in November since no Democrat has held the position since 1978, And the power-hitting politician is expected to boost the fortunes of the GOP’s Congressional baseball team, which has already beaten the Democrats six years in a row, according to The Hill...Desecration: There’s no other word to describe my feelings about the South Lawn of the White House lawn being used last night for UFC’s violent cage fights in celebration of Trump’s 80th birthday. I watched the first hour of this grotesque spectacle and that was enough. This morning on Truth Social, Trump described the event as “One of the most exciting days in the History of our fabled White House!” (Cue the gagging)...Bowing tonight: Fans of MS NOW’s fast-talking Ali Veshi will want to catch tonight’s debut of the weeknight show The 11th Hour with Ali Veshi. Veshi takes over from Stephanie Ruhle, who I liked but never matched the pizzazz of her predecessor Brian Williams. Number of the day: 80.  Donald Trump turns 80 on Sunday.  Other prominent personalities will also celebrate their 80th birthday later this year including Sylvester Stallone (July 6), former Biden Sec. of the Treasury Janet Yellen (August 13), Bill Clinton (August 19), Tommy Lee Jones (September 15), Laura Bush (November 4), and Steven Spielberg (December 18)...VP JD Vance will parachute behind enemy lines on Tuesday, June 16.  That’s when he’s set to appear on ABC’s liberal-leaning yakfest “The View.” He’ll be  promoting his new book Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith, which drops early next week. NewsBusters has the details....Scott Pelley doesn’t matter. That’s the conclusion of this essay published in Lyceum, which I had never read before.  But Trump obviously does, because he linked to the article in a Truth Social post last night...Weekend Watch: Let’s get ready to rumble.
