TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Delayed: Things That Matter, the little-watched CBS News monthly town hall show has shelved host Tony Dokoupil’s interview with Veep J.D. Vance, originally slated for tomorrow night. Best guess is that the war in Iran might have been a factor...President Cognitive Decline keeps referring to his war with Iran as an “excursion,” according to many outlets including the Military Times. Definition of excursion (per Oxford Learner’s dictionary): a short journey made for pleasure, especially one that has been organized for a group of people. Definition of incursion (per Oxford Learner’s dictionary): a sudden attack on a place by foreign armies.  The devil is in the details Mr. President, especially when billions of dollars in bombs are falling in the Middle East...More mixed messages from Trump: First The Donald posts a welcome on Truth Social to the Iranian soccer team scheduled to play in the World Cup beginning June 11 in the United States, Canada and Mexico. But then he adds, “I really don’t believe it is appropriate that they be there, for their own life and safety.” Earlier the same day, in another post, he expressed enthusiasm for the U.S. hosting some of the World Cup games, but added methinks defensively, “It will be the Greatest and Safest (my emphasis) Sporting Event in American History”...Weekend Watch: Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare examines the 2011 disaster at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in northern Japan. The documentary offers a white-knuckle look at how a massive earthquake triggered a tsunami that flooded the nuclear facility.  The harrowing footage and tales of worker heroism make this HBO Max program soar....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Jack Schlossberg and America’s Longest Political Inheritance

source: Victory Girls

At some point a political legacy stops looking legendary and starts looking inherited. When a candidate’s biography still begins with a grandfather from the early 1960s, voters are not hearing a fresh political voice. They are hearing the echo of a dynasty that has been running on fumes for decades.

Studios Costly Woke Agendas Chase Elusive Prestige and Trophies

source: Newsmax

In the risky business that is Hollywood, where budgets frequently reach nine figures and a film's fate is determined by the willingness of film-goers to part with their dollars, Warner Bros.' "The Bride!" is serving as the perfect cautionary tale on how ill-advised it is to mix woke politics with general entertainment fare.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Gutless Mike Pence: The Trump 1.0 Veep kissed the portly POTUS’s derriere in a sycophantic Fox News op-ed Tuesday in which he commended Trump for starting a war against Iran.  Did the January 6 insurrection get wiped from Pence’s brain? Was he not aware that three sources told Politico that Trump expressed support for hanging him during deadly Capitol riots? Grow a pair Mr. Pence and stop sucking up to Trump....Blood and Guts Trump: President “Bone Spurs” says ship owners in the Persian Gulf don’t have the “guts” to travel  through the Strait of Hormuz, according to the maritime news site gCaptain. The vital 25-mile sea lane is reportedly being mined and ships have been attacked by missiles and drones from Iran. Besides the risk of death or injury to the crews, these cargo vessels cost upwards of $100 million each. Given the war raging in the region, it seems smart to me to stay clear of the Strait for now... Worth noting: The world is afire, and Trump is spending a strange amount of time focused on his senior staffers’ footwear per multiple reports and Gavin Newsom’s February 23 speech, according to last night’s Truth Social post...Dept. of Surprises: Fox News published an op-ed by Mahmoud Khalil, the  activist best known for being detained by Trump officials in the wake of his high-profile role in pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University. In the piece, Khalil argues that political speech is endangered in the U.S....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

The Obama Foundation Is Even More Corrupt Than You Thought

source: PJ Media

The land it sits on is a big part of the scheme. The Obama Foundation secured a 99-year agreement with the city, under which the foundation pays just $10 per year to use the plot. That deal alone costs Chicago tens of millions of dollars while handing over prime public property to a private nonprofit run by a former president.

Trump’s Bold Moves with Iran Do No Warrant Dems’ Crocodile Tears

source: Washington Reporter

American energy dominance is built-in resilience. It afforded the U.S. the geopolitical leverage to knock out the world’s greatest state sponsor of terror, and the potential to re-shape the region. Just like sealing the southern border, re-establishing energy dominance didn’t require a set of sweeping policies or bills. It just took a new president.
