TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Welcome to Debate Week.  Unless there's a massive gaffe or meltdown by Joe Biden or Donald Trump Thursday night, I’m downplaying the importance of this political slugfest, because it’s way too early in the election cycle.  Too much can happen between now and Nov. 5…The Gateway Pundit suggests, sans any evidence, that Biden has Parkinson’s disease…TheRighting’s unofficial Arizona bureau chief Barry Kluger penned a smart and funny column in the “Jewdicious” Substack in response to a  new Louisiana law that requires the Ten Commandments be displayed in every public classroom.  Kluger opines that Jerry Seinfeld’s best 10 minutes of standup should be required reading for school kids too…The volume of criticism from the right directed toward June Pride Month has been strangely muted.   Yes, there’s still the occasional nasty, homophobic story, but it’s nothing compared to what I witnessed in the past.  Maybe the  Trump trial and conviction last month plus the upcoming June 27 debate, has sucked most of the oxygen from news cycles in June…Dept. of No Surprise:  Somehow I missed this story late last year, but the pro-DeSantis blog, The Florida Standard, stopped publishing in December (Rolling Stone)…A new White House communications staffer is already under fire for posting anti-cop and anti-Israel social media tweets (National Review)…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Instead of Donating to Your Woke Alma Mater, Fund Classical K-12 Schools

For those who wish to further mankind’s happiness, there is an outstanding alternative to writing a check to rotted institutions of allegedly higher learning. The charter school movement represents the American desire for improvement at its finest.

WaPo’s Editor Drama Only Exposes Its Lack of “Ethics” After Debasing Trump for Years

source: NY Post

The new CEO is an energetic Brit named Will Lewis, with impressive runs on the journalistic leadership board. He was previously publisher at The Wall Street Journal, on the board of The Associated Press, editor of London’s Telegraph and an investigative reporter for the Financial Times. Not good enough for WaPo’s paragons of elite journalism.

Do You Feel a Draft?

source: Townhall

By Kurt Schlichter: The normal Americans who used to make up our military are refusing to play along. The cannon fodder has found better things to do than pursue the agenda of a globalist ruling class that hates them and everything they stand for. This, of course, is unacceptable, so we’re starting to hear some rumblings about a new draft

NATO’s Next Leader Is a Cycling Dutch Boy

source: Washington Free Beacon

Mark Rutte, the outgoing prime minister of the Netherlands, is on track to become the next secretary general of NATO. The Netherlands is an obscure European country where Rutte has served as prime minister since 2010. It is best known as a haven for drugs, prostitutes, and filthy cyclists. This would never happen on Trump's watch.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Hillary for Biden’s vice president.  That’s not the crazy headline from a fringe right wing website, it’s the suggestion from the Washington Post’s Pulitzer-Prize-winning columnist Kathleen Parker.  She thinks Biden should dump Kamala in favor of the former Secretary of State.  Maybe Parker thinks the 75-year-old Hillary will inject more youth into the Biden campaign or help steady the ship.  I think it’s a click-bait idea for a slow news period and nothing more than that…Trump is speaking June 22 at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s 2024 Road to Majority  conference in Washington.  It’s the largest policy gathering of Christian activists.  Brooklyn poets are probably not welcome…Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy showed up on a Daily Signal podcast hyping his company’s planned IPO that is hoping to generate $25 million for the multiplatform conservative news outlet….Blaze Media wins the award for the most bizarre headline of the week from the right.  Here’s the winner: “Bizarre fungus hijacks cicadas transforming them into killer nymphomaniacs.” There’s gotta be a horror movie in that intriguing jumble of words…Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee says she’s attempting to end her state’s income tax, according to her latest Fox News op-ed…Weekend Watch:  I’d be remiss if I didn’t give a final salute to the great Donald Sutherland who died yesterday at 88.  Here are just a few of my favorite Sutherland movies for your weekend watching pleasures: “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” (1978), “Klute” (1971), “Ordinary People” (1980), and “The Eagle Has Landed” (1976)…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Louisiana Rightly Blends Education and Morality

source: Washington Examiner

At a time when a growing number of people are rejecting the basic moral truths that stealing is wrong, marital infidelity is wrong, and sometimes even that killing is wrong, the moral guidance of the Ten Commandments is needed more than ever.

The Oligarch’s Replacement for Biden

source: WND

The probable replacement for Joe Biden for the 2024 election is Wes Moore, current governor of Maryland. Like Obama, he has less than two years of experience at his current job. And, like Obama, he has the right backers: Oprah Winfrey, rich woke oligarchs, Obama, and he has the right credentials as an Army veteran, Black American, and husband and father

He will be holed up until next week's debate. The only way Biden will be able to function at next week’s debate is if he is doped up on a cocktail of meds.
