The ugly truth is finally beginning to emerge…Mediaite has named the 75 most influential people in the news media. Rightly so, a number of right-leaning personalities made the list.  They include CNN’s house conservative Scott Jennings (#23), the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro (#16), rightward  podcast queen Megyn Kelly (#10).  And drumroll for No. 1 on the Mediaite list:  POTUS puppeteer Elon Musk…The Daily Wire documentary Identity Crisis, which criticizes “gender-affirming surgery” for children, premieres January 10 on X.  It’s available for free for three days before slipping behind a paywall.  (Hollywood in Toto)…Weekend Watch: Especially for those of you brave enough to fly this holiday season  I recommend  Carry On, an old-fashioned action-thriller set at LAX on Christmas Eve. Crazy conspiracy theory of the day: FrontPage has a looney story speculating that Biden will use the continuing drone drama as an excuse to declare martial law, and then refuse to swear in Donald Trump on January 20…Right wing headline of the day courtesy of American Thinker: Throw Us a Drone Bone.  The op-ed  calls on  government officials to give us the inside dope on what's soaring through the New Jersey skies…A NewsBusters panel of rightward media watchdogs selected the worst quote of the year from a journo personality.  Honors go to MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough for saying that the 2024 “version” of President Joe Biden was “intellectually, analytically” the “best Biden ever.” Runner-up goes to veteran journalist and presidential historian Jonathan Alter who stated on July 22 on  NBC Morning News NOW that Biden “will be remembered as a great president.  He will be mentioned in the same sentence as George Washington.”  I find myself in rare agreement with the NewsBusters crowd…Human Events argues the nation should consider a Constitutional amendment that would shorten the time between the presidential election and the January inauguration…Liberty Nation News named the top 20 conservative websites of 2024.  The list includes the New American (#20), American Thinker (#8), the NY Post (#4), and (drumroll please) The Federalist (#1)…American Spectator points out that half the women at the  University of Michigan identify as LGBTQ.  The tag above  above the Spectator headline: “EDUCATION GONE WILD”… If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
