TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! The Swiss Watch: Trump’s flight on Air Force One to Davos, Switzerland, was delayed slightly this morning because of  an undisclosed “electrical problem.” Maybe his secret pacemaker was malfunctioning?...The editorial page of The Wall Street Journal REALLY hates Trump’s plans for Greenland based on the two op-eds it just published.  Writer Tom Rogan opines that if the U.S. invaded Greenland, it would drive Europe into China’s arms. The headline was on-the-nose perfect: How to Destroy Trump’s Presidency. The second op-ed by Holman Jenkins Jr carries a more playful tone with Moby Dick overtones: Greenland Is Trump’s White Whale. But the subhead really nails it: “He needs therapy more than the U.S. needs to own the island to ensure its defense.” Worth mentioning: The American Conservative concurs with the Journal’s Greenland POV predicting that Trump’s quest for Greenland “could destroy half the world”...What’s cooking in Greenland? Since our president seems intent on making Greenland part of the United States, I was curious about the restaurant scene in the vast country three times the size of Texas with a population of only 56,000.  Two establishments caught my eye. Restaurant Ulo got my mouth watering with its seasonal menu including snow crab with caviar and hand-picked mussels with fermented seaweed.  And I love the restaurant’s tagline: “Fine dining at the edge of the world.” Café Neko ranked as Trip Advisor’s top-rated restaurant in Greenland offering local fish (halibut, stonefish), sushi, bagels baked in its kitchen (!!!) and coffee from Copenhagen. Worth mentioning: there are no McDonald’s in Greenland...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Michelle Obama Exists to Make Hillary Clinton Seem Delightful

source: PJ Media

What makes Michelle Obama so insufferable is that she acts as if she were a civil rights crusader from 1957. Despite having been the First Lady of the land for eight years and having her behind kissed in the nine years since she and hubby left the White House, Mrs. Obama would have everyone believe that she's a permanent victim of oppression.

California has the highest energy and housing costs in the continental U.S., tand he nation’s highest unemployment and poverty rates. TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings!  Media pundits are buzzing about last night’s chilling“60 Minutes” segment on El Salvador’s notorious Cencot prison where scores of U.S. deportees have been sent without trial. The  shocking Cencot report had been shelved last month by newly installed CBS News chief Bari Weiss shortly before it was originally supposed to air. It was a move widely viewed as politically motivated not to rile the Trump administration. However, if you think CBS News has completely lost its spine  to The Donald’s regime, at least  “60 Minutes” is still in the news business based on both the Cencot report and another segment that opened  the Sunday edition of the storied newsmagazine. That first report focused on the escalating conflicts between Minneapolis residents and ICE agents run amuck in the beleaguered city. The report included shocking footage of a disabled American citizen violently dragged out of her car by ICE agents, an  unflinching example of the utter brutality of the occupation of the Twin Cities by  3,000 ICE agents. Worth noting: The New Yorker published an in-depth examination of embattled CBS News chief Bari Weiss’s first rocky months on the job  which the magazine likens to  a “hostile takeover” of the network’s news division....Word of the month: ICE-holes. It’s what I call the out-of-control agents of the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement....The traditionally conservative Wall Street Journal editorial board dumps on Trump’s imperialistic plans for a hostile takeover of Greenland: “Say good-bye to NATO,” the editorial board wrote. And that would make Russia and China the big winners in this MAGA land grab....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Happy One-Year Anniversary, Trump 47

source: PJ Media

By Stephen Kruiser: January 20, 2025 was one heck of a day for those of us here on the American right. The Biden Commie Cabal occupation of the Oval Office was finally over. Things had been so awful during that time that I kept worrying that some kind of apocalyptic event would happen to keep Trump from making his triumphant return.

Trump’s Fixation with Greenland Isn’t as Crazy as It Sounds

source: SteveGruber.com

Greenland isn’t just ice and polar bears. It’s also packed with rare earth minerals – the same materials needed for batteries, defense systems, and advanced tech. Right now, China dominates that market. Securing access would reduce reliance on adversaries and keep supply chains closer to home.

Dem Mobs Are the Ones Bringing Fascism to Minneapolis

source: Washington Examiner

What is a more glaring sign of budding fascism in the United States: Federal immigration authorities enforcing immigration laws passed by Congress, or mobs of activists harassing random people on the streets or in their places of worship for not adhering to the platform of their political movement?
