TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Word of the week: recession….The Wall Street Journal must agree. The outlet’s lead editorial asks, Will There be a Recession? My answer: look at your retirement accounts, my fellow Americans. However, WND advises its readers that the current stock market plunge represents a buying opportunity.  “Always bet on Trump,” says columnist Wayne Allyn Root…Donald Trump’s hit reality television show “The Apprentice,” NBC’s long-running program which debuted in 2004, is now available on Amazon Prime Video, according to the Associated Press. I confess that I never saw a single episode and I may watch a few shows to see what all the fuss is about. However, on a flight out to Dallas this weekend, I viewed the theatrical movie The Apprentice, which looked at young Trump’s relationship with reptilian lawyer Roy Cohn played to chilling  perfection by Jeremy Strong.  I give it a soft recommendation. On my flight back to New York this afternoon, I intend to see the movie Reagan starring Dennis Quaid as the conservative icon. Stay tuned for my one-sentence review…A Fox News op-ed came out against cutting NIH funding.  Two prominent doctors wrote that the cutbacks represent a surrender to disease.  “Among the many things that make America exceptional is our proud legacy of scientific research and discovery,” opined Drs. Theodore DeWeese and Robert Harrington. “Thanks to research funded by the National Institutes of Health, 90% of the children diagnosed this year with the most common form of leukemia will go on to be cured”…90s sitcom star Justine Batemen trashes Hollywood’s DEI quotas as “an insult to filmmaking,” according to Hollywood in Toto…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.  Howard

Dems Find New Trojan Horse to Smuggle Their Agenda into Young Minds

source: Daily Caller

A slew of Democratic governors have recently turned to sports as a venue to hawk their agenda and claw back men who ditched their party for Trump and the GOP. The move seems thirsty, but it’s also the smartest thing Democrats have done since their defeat in November. Still, that doesn’t mean it will work.

Democrats Are Just the Worst People

source: Townhall

Are all Republicans the most moral people you’d love to date your sister or daughter? Of course not. Are there any Democrats? Hell no. The difference is Democrats insist that Republicans not being perfect is a reason to vote against them and ignore their own shortcomings.

By relying on Secretary of State Rubio’s judgment, as well as Khalil’s pro-Hamas activities, the Trump administration is doing what it can within existing law.

Trump Is Cleaning Up DC

Supporters of President Donald Trump have said for years that he would clean up Washington, D.C. While they were usually talking about the federal government, it turns out Trump is cleaning up the district as well.

PBS Plays Dumb on Why Power-Mad Trump Is Punishing Columbia University

source: NewsBusters

Bias by omission on the PBS weekly news roundtable Washington Week with The Atlantic, as the panel of journalists played dumb about why Trump would cancel federal grant money from Columbia University, describing it as a typical Trumpian power grab.

The Resistance Sequel Flops

source: American Greatness

The first #Resistance produced Inauguration Day riots; the largest single-day protest in history; the rise of Antifa; the explosion of left-wing grassroots organizations—albeit funded by the usual billionaire suspects—and the “In This Yard” sign, “the epitome of virtue signaling.”

We Have Four Years to Make Sure 2020 Never Happens Again

source: The Federalist

2020 taught us that most of our public officials are feckless hirelings who’d throw your grandma into isolation to die, not sword-wielding warriors who stand guard fearlessly against rabid wolves. It taught us leftist conspiracy theorists ran our country, and they can trot out regime-change street rioters to get their way.
