Greetings! Dropping F-bombs on Iran: In a Truth Social post yesterday, the potty-mouthed POTUS ranted, “Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards or you’ll be living in hell.” What puzzles me is why he dropped the “g” while using the “F” word as an adjective. Did he think that it made him sound tough?...Former “60 Minutes” correspondent Steve Kroft just did Bill O’Reilly a solid, appearing as a guest on the scandal-scarred ex-Fox News star’s new weekly podcast, “We’ll Do It Live.”  At the 3:44 mark in the program, Kroft eviscerated “60 Minutes,” where he worked for 28 years, calling it “a toxic work environment.”  That headline-grabbing assessment resulted in articles in the NY Post and other outlets, giving free promo to O’Reilly’s fledgling show. My question for Kroft: Why the hell do a podcast hosted by Bill O’Reilly who was dropped by Fox after multiple charges of sexual harassment? It helps legitimize him....Melania writes! Fox News has an op-ed with the  First Lady’s byline extolling the benefits of AI to deliver  a “world-class education” to the nation’s children... Over the weekend, the NY Times Book Review published a list of the 100 best books of the 21^stcentury. There was only one book in that list that I’ve read – Philip Roth’s excellent 2004 novel The Plot Against America, ranked #65.  I'm a fairly obsessive reader of both fiction and nonfiction books, so the NYT's picks really opened my eyes. Greetings! Buh-bye Bondi: The prickly POTUS gave his Attorney General Pam Bondi her walking papers yesterday. She was a faithful Trump toady known for nastiness and her serial botching the Epstein scandal. The Donald thanked Bondi for her service and claimed she was leaving for “an important new job in the private sector.” That’s Trump-speak for “lose my number.” Worth remembering: Trump’s first choice for AG was the scandal-ridden Matt Gaetz, the ex-Florida Congressman and current OAN news anchor, who successfully fought charges of sexual misconduct and drug use. Gaetz withdrew himself from consideration...Agree! The Daily Caller termed Trump’s Wednesday night prime time address  a “nothingburger”...SOS Donald Trump: Shortly after crashing his car last week, Tiger Woods reached out to President Trump, according to TMZ.  Woods is currently dating Don Jr’s ex-wife Vanessa,  mother of five of the president’s grandchildren. The Woods/Trump call  apparently had little effect. Woods was booked on a DUI charge... Feedspot has an excellent list of 100 conservative YouTubers.  The list  features many names new to me, including Conservative Vibes, The Tennessee Conservative and Texas Latino Conservatives, which has all of 361 subscribers...Negative reviews for the “Melania” documentary keep rolling in.  Former Time magazine culture critic Richard Zoglin gritted his teeth and streamed “Melania” on Prime Video from the comfort of his own home.  His verdict. “The film is worse than I even imagined” he wrote on his blog, describing it as a “hate-watching assignment I couldn’t avoid”...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
