TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Only fitting: Peter Hegseth, Donald Trump’s embattled Secretary of Defense nominee, is playing defense this week while his reputation gets carpet-bombed. Damning allegations of sexual misconduct have surfaced threatening his exalted seat in The Donald’s cabinet. My advice: Raise the white flag and retreat behind home lines to your Fox News safe house.…Sour Note: Trump is endorsing a line of guitars. The American Eagle Guitar series touts itself as “the only guitar officially endorsed” by the Mar-a-Lago Maestro.  The guitars have an American Flag on the body, with “Make America Great Again” inscribed on the neck. Prices start at about $1,000 and rise to $11,750 for one autographed by a certain incoming resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. SteveGruber.com has more details…Steamed about the election?  The Atlantic recommends seven books to assuage your rage. The list includes “Which Side Are You On,” by Ryan Lee Wong, and “Good Talk,” by Mira Jacob.…Word of the day: fealty.  If you don’t know what it means, ask Pam Bondi, Trump’s choice for Attorney General…ICYMI: Nikki Haley launched a podcast last September. She has attracted a lowly 74 subscribers on the Castbox podcast platform…Dept. of No Surprises:  Hollywood in Toto gives a rave review for “Bonhoeffer” from the rightward Angel Studios. The film, about a Pastor’s attempt to assassinate Hitler, hits theaters today…Weekend Watch: If you’re like me and have Attorney Generals top of mind, check out Netflix’s 2022 documentary The Martha Mitchell Effect.  It’s about the colorful and compulsively outspoken wife of John Mitchell, Richard Nixon’s corrupt A.G. who ended up in prison…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Drop the Recess Scheme

The end of the Gaetz nomination should spell the end of the scheme to put the Senate in recess in order to bypass its role in advice and consent.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! You don’t see this every day.  Antisemites are being courted to watch a new movie. Tomorrow, Angel Studios, the conservative-friendly producers of the last summer’s box office hit Sound of Freedom,  releases its latest film Bonhoeffer, promoting it with a most unusual marketing hook.  “(W)e’re prioritizing free tickets specifically for antisemites,”  explains Angel Studios co-founder Jeffrey Harmon. “Who needs to know the evils of antisemitism more than antisemites?”  Already, 2500 free tickets have been distributed for "Bonhoeffer" that tells the story of a German pastor who risked his life to plan the assassination of Hitler.  My marketing tip for Angel Studios?  Re-name the film. Who can pronounce that title much yet remember it?….Biden was rooting for Trump to win the election because he wanted revenge against his own party that kicked him to the curb. So claims the Washington Times…Who wants to cruise to Norway with a ship full of MAGA fellow travelers? The right wing Media Research Center is touting a voyage around the Scandinavian country in late summer 2025.  No word on the featured speakers, but I wouldn’t count on Lynn Cheney or Mitt Romney.  Hungarian autocrat Viktor Orbán would probably be a big draw…Pen pals! Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have published a joint bylined op-ed in the Wall Street Journal outlining their plan to “reform” government…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Beware the MSNBC Devil Woman

source: BizPacReview

Rachel Maddow has yet to acknowledge the problems created by the open border policies of the Biden-Harris regime. But Maddow isn’t such a person. She is certainly not a journalist – as evidenced by the deliberate omissions and distortions of her “coverage.” She is evil.

Gravy Train Derails at MSNBC

source: Washington Free Beacon

Comcast is finally cutting ties with MSNBC, the media conglomerate announced Wednesday. That's bad news for the exorbitantly compensated and increasingly unhinged personalities who call the left-wing network home (for now).

The Liberal Washington Post Is on Track to Lose a Whopping $77 Million

source: The Gateway Pundit

How could such an institution be losing so much money? Maybe it has something to do with WaPo columnists like Jen Rubin, who recently declared that Republicans want to kill your children. Liberal media outlets are suffering decline across the board right now, but these numbers from the Washington Post are indicative of a doom spiral.

Matt Gaetz Deserves Confirmation as Attorney General

source: Newsmax

If America First principles triumphed over Kevin McCarthy, Gaetz also consistently proved his ability to work in loyal concert with Trump, for whom he at one point cast a vote to elect as speaker.

The Collapse of the Elitists

source: Daily Wire

By Ben Shapiro: If there is one thing common to Trump’s Cabinet picks, it is Newton’s third law of motion, which suggests that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Newton’s third law holds true in politics. For example, if you corrupt the DOJ, then Trump is going to unleash Matt Gaetz. Or, if you corrupt HHS, he’s going to unleash RFK Jr.

AOC Removes Pronouns from Her Bio

The winsome AOC has just signaled a massive cultural shift by actually removing the pronouns from her X bio. Has the trans madness crested and is now receding? Could be.

The Resignation of Scientific American’s Editor Is Great for Humanity

source: Human Events

Once revered for presenting science as a neutral and evidence-based pursuit, the publication became mired in ideological bias under the leadership of the now former Editor-in-Chief, Laura Helmuth.

Celebrate Diversity (or Else)!

source: Townhall

If you could travel back in time just a few years and tell your younger self that one political party would be fighting tooth and nail to make sure a man in a dress is treated like they were your mother, you’d have your older-self committed. Yet, that’s where the Democrats have led society.

Normal Americans Never Spoke Woke

source: Unleash Prosperity

The reasons that voters elected Donald Trump included concerns about inflation and immigration. But some liberal centrists – such as New York Rep. Tom Suozzi and Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton – have also said voters were tired of causes promoted by social-justice warriors.

It’s Not Nancy Mace Who Is Culture-Warring

source: Not the Bee

Every single person with a functioning moral compass knows that Nancy Mace is right - those with male genitalia do not belong in women's locker rooms, dressing rooms, or bathrooms. It's both a modesty and a safety issue for women.

Twice-Censored Research Links Covid Vaccines to Death

source: Sharyl Attkisson

A landmark Covid-19 vaccine autopsy study has been republished in Science, Public Health Policy, and the Law. This follows its controversial withdrawal by two prior journals. The study, led by an epidemiologist at the McCullough Foundation. provides what he describes as “robust evidence” linking the vaccines to fatal outcomes
