TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Good career move? Did federal agents who arrested Don Lemon for documenting an anti-ICE protest that interrupted a Minneapolis church service last month inadvertently boost the flagging career of the independent journalist? Newsweek’s Jesse Edwards  thinks so. “Lemon can now play the unjustly incarcerated victim for the rest of his professional life, and he has every right to do so,” writes Edwards. “Congratulations, Mr. Lemon. Today you truly became a journalist. You have earned all the street credit you will ever need to leave a lasting mark on American discourse, and I am guessing the book deal is already in motion.” Worth noting: Lemon will be on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tonight. (LateNighter)...Comedian Pete Davidson showed up playing  Tom Homan in the cold open of Saturday Night Live. This is how Davidson/Homan explains why  Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino was canned: ““I want to stress that it wasn’t because he did a bad job or publicly lied about the shooting of an American citizen or even — uh oh — dressed like a Nazi. It was that he was filmed doing these things”....He’s back! Dan Bongino’s podcast and syndicated radio show returns today after a year-long hiatus. Earlier this year, the flame-throwing darling of the right stepped away from a successful media career to become Deputy Director of the FBI...Dept. of Cruelty: In a Truth Social post last night, Donald Trump threatened to sue Grammy host Trevor Noah for a joke he made last night connecting  the MAGA-in-Chief to the notorious island retreat of his former bestie, the late convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump concludes his post with these two sentences that reveal his disturbing joy in inflicting pain on his adversaries: “Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Left-Wing Groups Suddenly Discover the Second Amendment

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Alex Pretti was not a “protestor,” he was an agitator. So opines National Review editor-in-chief Richard Lowry in a guest column for the NY Post. “Now that we’ve seen videos of an earlier struggle with federal agents and learned more about the organized nature of the anti-ICE resistance” Lowry writes, “it’s become clear that the better word for Pretti was agitator, or perhaps even operative.”  Amplifying Lowry’s blame the victim op-ed, Trump wrote in a Truth Social post this morning that he also believes that Pretti was an agitator and perhaps even an “insurrectionist.”  My view? ICE agents were the agitators and Pretti’s actions were in reaction to an over-the-top assault on his city by Trump storm troopers...Weekend Watch: I’m  two episodes into HBO’s new series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and so far it’s a winner.  A  prequel to the wildly successful “Game of Thrones,” the two main characters in the series, Sir Dunk, the giant-like would-be knight, and his young, but wise-beyond-his-years sidekick will steal your heart...Weekend Whatever: Melania, the $40 million documentary about you-know-who lands in 1,500 North American movie theaters today. After an anticipated weak weekend box office and skewering by critics, I predict that the First Lady may feel like a chicken at a shish kebob fest...Weekend Laugh: Award-winning humorist Andy Borowitz  claims in his latest column that the nation’s dogs have urged President Trump to fire Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security.  “This is not a partisan issue,” writes Borowitz. “Cats agree”...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Raging Leftist Keith Olbermann Smears Melania Over Her Accent

source: Western Journal

Leftists love immigrants — as long as those immigrants don’t love President Donald Trump. Keith Olbermann, one of the most vacuous voices on the modern left, proved that in a social media post Wednesday in which he mocked first lady Melania Trump’s accent to score some cheap points with his equally vacuous followers.

Trump’s Energy Policies Saved Lives During Harsh Winter Storms

source: Townhall

But this week's storm, as bad as it was, could have been a lot worse if the Biden administration had gotten its way. It ordered five major coal plants to close as part of its green energy agenda, and taking those power plants offline would have spelled disaster for millions of Americans. Thankfully, the Trump administration kept them open.

Trump Is Keeping Noem, and He Is Right to Do So

The calls for Noem’s resignation have nothing to do with her capabilities as DHS Secretary. Indeed, if anything, the Left wants her gone because she is too competent.

“Peaceful Protestor” Turns Out to Mean a Leftist Who Bought a Gun to an Anti-ICE Protest and Got Combative

source: SteveGruber.com

Footage circulating now shows who appears to be Pretti not just on the scene of an anti-ICE protest but also spitting at federal agents and kicking the taillight off a government SUV days before he was fatally shot. And, oh yeah – he wasn’t just holding a phone, he reportedly had a gun on his hip during the earlier encounter too.

How “Midwest Nice” Minnesota Became Ground Zero for Leftist Violence and Fraud

Over the past few months, the idyllic poster boy for “Midwest nice” has been completely upended following a string of high-profile, taxpayer-dollar fraud controversies, raids against peaceful church services, and violent altercations between leftist protesters and federal immigration officials.

The NBA’s Political Lecture Season Is Back

source: Washington Examiner

After the Border Patrol shooting of Alex Pretti, the NBA decided it should make the shooting all about itself and its brand as the wokest sports league in America. The NBA postponed a game between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves, citing “safety” concerns, as if Border Patrol agents would be stalking the streets of Minneapolis, prepared to shoot NBA fans.
