Greetings! Scary: A cadre of young engineers under the direction of Elon Musk are assisting the richest man in the world in his takeover of  our government, according to Wired.  In another Wired article, the publication asserts that one of those Musk acolytes, 25-year-old Marko Elez, has “admin privileges over the code that controls Social Security payments, tax returns, and more”…The Free Press, the red-hot right-wing upstart outlet, headed by neocon icon Bari Weiss offers  a Donald Trump 2.0 survival guide for Democrats.  Here are two suggestions per The Free Press: partner with Trump when he’s right on issues like on DEI; and avoid name-calling especially the F-bomb (fascist)…MAGA-nation would be wise to bone up on the new Chinese AI program Deep Seek and the looming bird flu epidemic. Both represent an iceberg in the Make America Great Again shipping lane. So sez me...Joe Biden goes Hollywood? Not quite. Yesterday, the ex-POTUS inked a pact with the powerful Tinseltown talent agency CAA. Expect book deals and lucrative speaking gigs for the ex-prez (Breitbart)… Dept. of Missing Links: Yesterday, I had the wrong links for two important Wall Street Journal articles critical of Trump’s trade war.  Here are the correct links: Dumbest Trade War in History and Dumbest Trade War Fallout Begins. And speaking of Rupert-Murdoch-powered publications dumping on the Trump administration, the NY Post nailed it last night with an op-ed stating that RFK Jr. is “not fit to lead” the Department of Health and Human Services.  I’m no fan of Murdoch’s politics, however I applaud his WSJ and NY Post this week for showing some spine…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Welcome to Black History Month.  Wonder how it will be acknowledged by the Trump White House 2.0?   The Pentagon, led by Pete Hegseth, has already pushed for the suspension of events recognizing Black History Month. Secretary Brylcreem has Juneteenth, Holocaust Remembrance Day and LGBTQ Pride Month in his crosshairs as well (MSNBC)…The conservative op-ed page of Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal took deadly aim at The Donald’s tariff assault on Canada, Mexico and China with this January 31 headline: The Dumbest Trade War in History. And that whopper of an editorial was followed up with this op-ed last night: The Dumbest Trade War Fallout Begins. Predictably, Trump called  the highly influential news outlet the Fake News Wall Street Journal.  Memo to Trump: these are opinion pieces, not news articles....Others from the right trashed the trade war including the National Review and the Washington Examiner…The women of “The View” are “clucking with hate” about Trump’s 27-year-old press secretary Karoline Leavitt because she’s good looking and young.  So charges Liberty Paige of SteveGruber.com…Is Trump 3.0  a possibility as Politico suggested last week? Fuggetaboutit, says Toni Williams of Victory Girls. She posits that MAGA Nation doesn’t need a third Trump term because the GOP has plenty of young talent, including J.D. Vance, Ron DeSantis, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders…Christianity Today, the evangelical magazine founded by the late Rev. Billy Graham, gets slammed by the Western Journal for publishing  “sob stories” about Trump’s immigration policies…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard
