TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Jill Biden’s memoir, A View from East Wing, hits retail shelves today. She shares her recollections about her husband’s presidency including his awful June 2024 debate performance that every Democrat wants to forget. Thanks to the former First Lady, it’s now being discussed and dissected all over again...Great Scott (Pelley): Journalism’s hero of the year turns out to be “60 Minutes” correspondent Scott Pelley. Yesterday, he fearlessly and ferociously confronted “60 Minutes’” new boss Nick Bilton during a tense, initial meeting with the staff.   Pelley, according to CNN and other news outlets, stood up to Bilton who was installed as the executive producer of the long-running newsmagazine by the right-leaning new honcho of CBS News Bari Weiss. Didn’t think Pelley had it in him, but yesterday he proved himself as someone worthy of carrying the torch of past CBS legends like Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather. I’m wondering what his “60 Minutes” colleague Lesley Stahl will do. She’s 84 years old and has spent more than half a century at CBS News. I hope she publicly supports Pelley and goes out in a blaze of glory. To spend the last year or two of her professional life in a Bari Weiss-controlled newsroom would be an insult to her esteemed career...Townhall says that conservatives give better graduation speeches than liberals. I guess I haven’t been paying attention...Here’s a tongue-twisting, 23-word headline no Senate candidate wants to read about themselves (courtesy of the Washington Free Beacon): “Look at All These Democrats Defending Graham Platner, the Nazi-Inked Porta Potty Masturbator Caught Sexting on Hookup App Dubbed ‘Paradise’ for Child Predators”....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. “Pride Month” Is Proof That Institutional Neutrality Is a Lie

Entities like MLB will either be dominated by what is true, good, and beautiful, or they will succumb to the type of sinful lies parroted during ‘pride month.’

Graham Platner’s Rise Paves the Way for Groypers

source: The American Conservative

It remains to be seen whether Graham Platner, the by turns troubled and troubling Democratic Senate candidate in Maine, sees his campaign end like Joe Biden after that ill-fated 2024 debate performance or, instead, like Donald Trump after the 2016 release of the “Access Hollywood” tape (or any number of other controversies).

Graham Platner’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Week

For those suffering from Platner fatigue, his campaign is the gift that keeps on giving, so to speak. This time, however, he may be screwed.

Dems Back Platner Because They Don’t Understand Men

source: Washington Examiner

The inability of Democrats to understand male voters has ironically led to them constantly defending the toxic masculinity of Graham Platner in pursuit of political power.

Graham Platner Loses Women

source: FrontPage

There’s something gross and off-putting about Platner. It might be the Nazi tattoo, the smelly hobo look, the insistence that his wife release a video defending him for sexting, the other video in which his wife emphasizes that their fertility problems aren’t his fault, and the long trail of bigoted Reddit posts.

Dem Females Demand Paid time Off for Menstruation

source: Victory Girls

If you ever wondered what Veruca Salt would be like as a 45-year-old member of Congress, complete with keffiyeh and septum ring, look no farther than the cohort of D-females demanding 12 days of employer-paid leave for menstruation, right now, or else. The Squad goon, Rashida Tlaib is right in the middle of this puerile tantrum masquerading as sober policy.

The Democratic Party’s Radical Lurch and the Reckoning It Invited in

source: Western Journal

The Democratic Party assembled its current coalition through deliberate choices: mainstreaming radicals, tolerating anti-Semitic rhetoric, and embedding the Democratic Socialists of America inside its infrastructure. The bill is coming due in 2026, and the scramble for distance is neither convincing nor timely.

Masculinity Is the First Battleground of the Texas Senate Race

In the Trump era, voters are used to candidates insulting opponents. One race this year may test how far the trend can go.

Radical Left-Wing ICE Protestors Attacking Horses in New Jersey

source: SteveGruber.com

The radical left’s war on ICE has found a new target: horses. What reportedly began as illegal aliens’ unverified complaints  at the Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark has descended into terrorist-style attacks on NJ State Police and their horses where a-hole leftists are throwing rocks, bottles, and even lumber at police officers and their horses.

Much of the climate anxiety shaping millennial and Gen Z attitudes toward the future was manufactured through exaggerated predictions that are now being abandoned.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! The knives are out for Graham Platner.  Over the weekend, the Wall Street Journal and the NY Times both published major stories alleging that the married Platner was texting multiple women with sexually oriented messages.  And the Washington Free Beacon reported that Platner’s role as harbormaster of Sullivan, Maine, was basically a clerical position, undercutting his blue collar image that he projects as he seeks to oust Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) in the November election...Pride Month begins today. Brace yourselves for a barrage of homophobic remarks and innuendos from the Trump administration and right-wing press.  It was bad last year and I expect the insults will be worse this year...Arkansas declared June “Fidelity Month” in a move to counter-program Pride Month. I guess Trump won’t be visiting Arkansas this month...Something is wrong with the Trump: He seemed to have spent his entire weekend on Truth Social concocting a deluge of unhinged posts.  I stopped counting at 70; it’s more than I’ve ever seen from him in such a short period.  Here are just a few of the topics that got Trump’s attention: Greenland, Mt. Rushmore (with his face etched in stone, natch), DC’s reflecting pool, Rosie O’Donnell, E. Jean Carroll, the NY Times, and NFL QB Jaxson Dart. He also included many AI-generated images like this one of him and George Washington (both dressed in 1776 military clothing) riding horse across the White House lawn as racing cars zoom across the White House lawn. If he was your teenage son, this would be the time to take his phone away and send him to a wilderness therapy camp for out-of-control adolescents....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Graham Platner’s Senate Campaign Is Finished

source: PJ Media

Maine Democrats were warned. They had every reason to look more closely at Graham Platner before handing him their Senate nomination. They didn't. Now the drip, drip, drip of scandal has turned into a flood, and the question isn't whether Platner survives; it’s whether he makes it to Election Day without the whole thing collapsing.

Their defense of this creepy character reveals how much control the far left has over the party.

Sexting revelations are the latest in a long line of troublesome details about the Senate candidate’s past.

Communist Nazi Maine Senate Candidate Cheated on His Wife on App with Child Sex Problem

source: FrontPage

At this point the question isn’t even whether Graham Platner was cheating on his wife, but whether he was messaging anyone under the age of 18. That’s quite a candidate the Left has got there.

The evidence of past affairs is the latest of many scandals. Yet none have stuck because his troubles strike many as relatable.

James Talarico’s Desperate Drive to Detransition from His Woke Past

source: NY Post

Which is better — a candidate who has sincerely held woke views, or a candidate who adopted an outlandish worldview a few years ago because he thought it was fashionable, and is now jettisoning that worldview because it’s no longer convenient? Neither speaks well of James Talarico.
