Fallon Sells His Comedy Soul to Billionaire Bloomberg

source: Hollywood in Toto

Hollywood in Toto

Fallon invited Democratic candidate Michael Bloomberg on his show for a telephone sketch. A more accurate description? A five minute Bloomberg for President campaign ad.  What transpired sounds like Team Bloomberg wrote the entire sketch, down to the exhausted Trump slams. It’s embarrassing, a clumsy attempt to boost the billionaire’s poll numbers.

The Bolton Leak: So What?

American Spectator

Since when do we Americans put people on trial for what they were thinking? They did that in Nazi Europe and in the Soviet Union. Do we do that here? Who cares what Trump wanted to do — but never actually did?

The Decline of the Primaries from RFK to Beto

Washington Examiner

Nothing says more about the decline of the Democrats than the difference between the two Robert Francises — Robert F. Kennedy and Beto O’Rourke. They stand at the opposite ends of the sixty-year chasm between them. Beto was laid back and ephemeral; Bobby was intense. Bobby's swimming coach at Harvard called him “heavy in the water” — drownable, dense. Beto, by contrast, seemed light as a feather, as if even a strong breeze could blow him away.

John Stossel: The Iowa Caucus is next week. Who's favored to win? Sadly, the smart money says it's the candidate who's promised Americans the most "free" stuff. Six months ago, my staff and I tallied the candidates' promises. All wanted to give away trillions -- or more accurately, wanted government to tax you and spend your money on the candidates' schemes.

Impeachment Is the Left’s Ultimate Weapon

LBJ ordered the wiretapping of Martin Luther King, and his White House shared the fruits of that FBI surveillance with a friendly press. No one was impeached. For Trump, a phone call with a Ukrainian president saying, “Send us your Biden file and we will have a meeting,” is a political capital crime justifying democracy’s version of a death penalty.

Leftist Values Are Causing Young Americans to Be Miserable

The reason so many young people are depressed, unhappy, and angry is the left has told them that God and Judeo-Christian religions are nonsense; their country is largely evil; their past is deplorable; and their future is hopeless.

Washington Post Writer Beclowns Herself with Ignorant Tweet Mocking Trump Lawyers

Apparently even the shallowest level of research is too difficult for Washington Post fake “conservative” blogger, Jennifer Rubin. The liberal journalist and MSNBC contributor tried to dunk on President Trump’s lawyers Jay Sekulow and Pat Cipollone, with an immature tweet mocking them as inexperienced buffoons. Unfortunately for Rubin, she was the one who ended up looking like a fool.

“Ya’ll Elitists Are Dumb”: CNN Creates Another Unintended Ad for Trump

The Federalist

CNN has created the perfect Trump campaign ad. It’s flawless as the world’s most immaculate diamond; glistening, sparkling, blindingly impeccable. It’s that good. During a Saturday segment, Rick Wilson mocked the president’s “credulous Boomer rube demo” by breaking into a southern accent and wheezing, “Donald Trump’s the smart one, and y’all elitists are dumb!”

This weekend, never-Trump carnival barker Rick Wilson went on the least-watched of the big three cable news networks, CNN, to take another swing at the President’s supporters.

Here’s What Trump Gets Right and Wrong About Interest Rates

source: CNS News

CNS News

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, last week, President Donald Trump again talked positively about negative interest rates. That's not a very good idea considering negative interest rates are a warning signal of deflation, which can be as bad for an economy as runaway inflation. But Trump was right to herald this era of low nominal interest rates and inflation.
