The administration is paranoid about losing control of even one facet of the Internet or mainstream media. If they cannot control the content on Twitter, then they will need to counter it with their version of the story.

It’s sub-titled “American Nationalist” and delivered by a staggering ten-person research/reporting crew led by reporter Nicholas Confessore. He relied on anonymous sourcing and hostile characterizations of the host’s populist- conservative opinions to bluntly declare both his show and Carlson himself as racist.

That Confessore is so involved with a direct competitor of Fox News is not mentioned until more than halfway through the first part of the series, which was close to 50 paragraphs into the story.
