To me, Kimmel’s joke (told days before the DC dinner)  – “Mrs. Trump, you have the glow of an expectant widow” –  gratuitously poked the bear putting his Disney/ABC bosses in a no-win situation. Worth noting: Donald Trump has a long history of boosting violent words and images. In March 2024, he posted a video of a pickup truck with President Joe Biden hogtied on the tailgate. And in 2023, he suggested that Gen. His late night presser, against the wishes of his security team (per Trump), burnished his desired image as the invincible and masculine MAGA warrior. And after The Donald’s no good, very bad, horrible stretch of bad news recently, the week ended on best note imaginable for him.
