Someone on the right finally said it: “The Iran War Has Destroyed Trump’s Presidency,” shouts the lead story today in The American Conservative...Rudy Giuliani slithered out of the dark recesses of the MAGA universe to attend Saturday’s world premiere of the pro-insurrectionist feature-length documentary American Martyrs.  The fallen politician and former Trump advisor was on a panel at the film’s September 26 opening night in West Palm Beach, according to The Gateway Pundit which also released the film about the January 6 insurrection. During the panel, which was hosted it by fallen “60 Minutes” correspondent and conspiracy theorist Lara Logan, Giuliani revealed that Barack Obama was responsible “for one of the darkest hours in American history." Wacky...How “fake news stories” get made: This is what Karoline Leavitt, former White House press secretary told Sean Hannity, according to an article in The Blaze. “A reporter develops a negative narrative about the Trump administration, finds loosely connected sources willing to validate it, and publishes the story even after receiving direct denials from people who were actually in the room,” wrote The Blaze’s Sara Gonzalez...It looks like sporting goods retail giant Dick’s Sporting Goods may be in the crosshairs of the right.  Western Journal reports that Dick’s prevents customers from ordering custom-made, Christian-themed water bottles while allowing bottles made with words like “quran” and “allahu akbar.” “Left-wing corporate America still hates Christianity,” concludes Western Journal. “This censorship of Christian customization is nothing new”...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Greetings! The NY Post is promoting a book in its op-ed pages that “isn’t afraid to teach the history of American greatness and hope.”  The second edition of Land of Hope: An Invitation to the Great American Story, is written by historian Wilfred McClay, who teaches at conservative Hillsdale College. I hope you have a lot of money because the 888-page non-fiction book sells for $95.  The book, which is most definitely not a warts-and-all history,  hits retailers tomorrow...In case you were wondering if “60 Minutes” was veering more to the right under the direction of its anti-wokester boss Bari Weiss, you’ll have to wait another week. The third show of the season was pre-empted last night so CBS could broadcast the frivolous  MTV Video Music Awards. Worth noting: The show featured the world premiere video of Taylor Swift’s Patient Zero. I know I’m not the target audience, but I thought it was pretentious, confusing and massively over-produced...A SteveGruber.com commentary by the prolific right-wing pundit Liberty Paige offers a lame defense of the high price of gas.  She reasons that because coffee, Door Dash, cell phones and other services and commodities are so high, we shouldn’t complain about the cost of gas.  Her best point is that the price of gas is nearly impossible to ignore since huge signs at thousands of gas stations across the country advertise the cost. “What other products or services do you know the EXACT price of every day?,” she writes.
