Kurt Schlichter: Ole Grandpa Badfinger has made a choice, and it was more complicated than his usual choice of what flavor of mush he’s having for breakfast. He had to choose a vice-presidential running mate, and as people who are smarter than me about such things have observed, he had no good choices. And yet he still made the crappiest one.

For too many of these left-wing teleprompter readers and Democratic Party stenographers, history just started yesterday. For instance, MSNBC anchor Katy Tur is known not for her depth of knowledge on important issues, but her basic ignorance of things that happened in her lifetime is disturbing.

The victory most of us patriots expect is coming clearly into focus as Biden becomes clearly more unfocused…And who are the people saying, “I’m really excited by the dynamic possibilities of a Joe Biden presidency!” except the marketing guys at Ensure and Depends?

Just when we think Democrats have reached rock bottom, former President Barack Obama opens his mouth, then hands Democrats a shovel. That Obama was not struck by lightning for all the lies he told (in church, no less) during his July 30 funeral speech for Rep. John Lewis is a testament to God’s patience and grace.

Traditionally, funerals are supposed to serve at least three purposes: honor the life of the deceased, comfort those who mourn his passing and preach a message about eternity and the brevity of life. Tradition was discarded during John Lewis’ funeral last week….There were allegations of voter suppression by Republicans and a comparison of Trump by former President Obama to segregationist, George Wallace.

Kurt Schlichter: For too long we have been taken advantage of by Teutonic freeloaders who were more than happy to cut their defense spending to the bone while allowing us to make up the difference. The Germans ended conscription, let their once-formidable military rust, and refused to keep their promise to put a measly 2% of their mammoth GDP into protecting their own country.

Drudge was the only game in town for a long time, now he’s not. You don’t need a clearing house for buried news nuggets, there are countless conservative sites doing original reporting on those nuggets that makes him almost irrelevant. Nothing can be hidden anymore.

Derek Hunter: If I want to be preached to, I’ll call a priest, not millionaires who play a game for a living. If I want to learn something, I’ll read a book, not seek out the “feelings” of someone in a profession known for having proxies take their classes for them. Anyone concerned with Jews and Israel should be horrified by the Democrats’ newly released 2020 platform. It directly threatens the Jewish state, employs double-talk calculated to stoke antagonism between the American left and Israel, and pays passing lip-service to opposing antisemitism.

America and its leaders need to know the extent to which Mexico coronavirus imports are filling U.S. hospitals so they can counter the problem with the correct cocktail of policies. After all, what good does it do only to restrict drinking in American bars and frolicking on beaches when significant numbers of those hospitalized got infected beyond the reach of such policies, in Mexico, under that country’s unique circumstances?

Kurt Schlichter: I love Trump’s tweeting, from his eccentric grammar to his wacky capitalization, from his occasional hilarious typos to his caustic venom when he’s in full effect mode. I love how he uses his tweets to seize and set the narrative, and I love watching the debate suddenly become not, say, if gropey Grandpa Badfinger is senile but just how demented he is.

John Stossel: Minneapolis Democrats brag that they recycle most everything. They have a plan to stop climate change. They tell landlords to whom they must rent. They will force employers to pay every worker $15 an hour. Despite such policies, meant to improve life for minorities and the poor, the Minneapolis income gap between whites and Blacks is the second-highest in the country.

This war will be waged by far-left radicals and their deep-state puppet masters. For them, civilian casualties and massacres will not be moral evils, but merely part and parcel of their larger plan to “reconstruct” America. Their objective is simple: overthrow our constitutional order, destroy our way of life, and deprive us of our freedom, our liberties, our property, and our honor.

During an interview with Townhall at the White House Tuesday, President Donald Trump warned the 2020 election could be a “fraud” and “totally rigged” if Democrat governors move forward with massive mail-in-ballot voting schemes.
