The left’s defund the police rhetoric and policies have become so untenable that some Democrats are now claiming to support increased funding for police. Safetyism explains the willingness of Americans to give up their most cherished values — including liberty — in the name of safety for the last year and a half.

Under their African American anchor Lester Holt, the “NBC Nightly News” takes special care to report on incidents of racism and racial insensitivity … typically by white people. On June 22, Holt touted “a shocking racist incident on the basketball court. Tortillas hurled at a team from a majority-Latino high school. The growing outrage.” A few minutes later, this ridiculous prank received a national airing.

Kurt Schlichter: There are rumblings out there, rumblings that have increased noticeably in recent weeks, that maybe it’s time to say “Thanks” to President Trump for his yeoman service and move on. It’s nothing personal, just business – everyone appreciates the president’s accomplishments, most notably his taking a sledgehammer to the garbage bipartisan establishment and its media toadies. But we need to win next time.

Derek Hunter: The people I’m racist towards are white liberals.  You’ve seen these people, often driving some kind of hybrid, regularly whining about the border, and always obsessed with skin color. They are the people for whom saying a minority group is not enough, they have to take it to the “especially” level, as in when they whine about something being horribly discriminatory against, say, trans people.

This underlines how NPR takes our tax dollars and uses them to enforce an ideological hard line that shames Hollywood and its liberal titans as insufficiently woke. NPR exists to “dismantle ideas” that whites in Hollywood “helped cement in the American mind.” Does that sound like journalism or activism comes first in “public broadcasting”?

CNN kept Toobin because to fire him for this obvious fireable offence would be to impose some level of standards on employment at CNN. And standards, no matter how low, are not something anyone at CNN can meet.

Oliver North: By allowing themselves to fall under the control of leftist ideologues advancing an agenda at odds with the purposes of higher education, many colleges and universities have become academic gulags focused primarily on leftist indoctrination. Many now operate more like the “reeducation” camps associated with communist nations than institutions of higher learning.

All the while, his cackling understudy is biding her time everywhere and generally failing at a job historically assigned to morons as a role where they could do little damage.

Kurt Schlichter: We need to stop outsourcing the dirty and dangerous work of protecting society to the LEOs and soldiers who make up maybe 5 percent of the population. The other 95 percent need to get with it. It is people with guns who built and maintain a society so peaceful and prosperous that ridiculous twits can babble about “privilege” and engage in similarly frivolous nonsense without a care in the world.

Only 6.4% of Black households headed by a married couple live in poverty. So, enough of racist generalizations about Blacks. And enough of the distortions that Blacks have not been gaining ground in our free country. Black progress and achievement since the 1960s have been substantial.

Kurt Schlichter: The great progressive dream is to dispense with rule by us mere citizens in favor of a government staffed by disinterested experts who selflessly apply the principles of science to create a better society. Of course, the progressive advocates of expertocracy assume that those experts will share their coastal, urban and blue perspectives, mores, and values – funny how that works.

The trials of Covid-19 in America have dealt an irreparable blow to the credibility of America’s ruling class and its implicit appeal to its authority as a coterie of highly trained experts. No single person exemplifies this more than Dr. Fauci, who has attained celebrity status during the pandemic as the nation’s leading immunologist.

Kurt Schlichter: Our democracy is in peril, according to unbiased experts of expertise who really want Joe Manchin to roll-over on the filibuster. We have to pass the Perpetual Democrat Control Act now, or it’s curtains for our democracy, exclaim said experts passionately, with tears and teeth gnashing. Experts, of course, are never wrong, except when they are, which is pretty much all the time.

Following her disastrous campaign to oppose election integrity in Georgia, Abrams secured two new book deals. If she can pull that off without destroying anyone’s livelihood, at least it will be an improvement over her most recent endeavors. Abrams is responsible for the loss of at least $100 million in economic activity that would have gone to Atlanta-area businesses and their employees.

If we have to rely on government and the United Nations, we truly are doomed. Politicians will make the same tragic mistakes they made in response to the false population bomb. As for young people, if truly want to save the planet is this: Go out; get married; and make babies. Lots of them.

Kurt Schlichter: Okay, let’s say out loud what the regime doesn’t want said – there was no insurrection…The fracas on Capitol Hill was barely a brawl – what if they gave an armed insurrection and nobody showed up with arms? It certainly was not even close in damage, violence, or casualties to the routine BLM/Antifa rioting last year – rioting the Democrats tacitly supported.

For years network television, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox, refuse to show even a single successful defensive gun use by a civilian. You would surely never know that people successfully use guns defensively some 2 million times a year.
