Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a popular yuletide tradition, is going to be rebranded. The new “don’t call it Christmas” event is called “Disney Very Merriest After Hours” – a generic, holiday-themed celebration.  Disney did not provide an explanation for the change – but in recent days the woke imagineers at the Magic Kingdom have made national headlines by culturally cleansing many popular rides.

Under their African American anchor Lester Holt, the “NBC Nightly News” takes special care to report on incidents of racism and racial insensitivity … typically by white people. On June 22, Holt touted “a shocking racist incident on the basketball court. Tortillas hurled at a team from a majority-Latino high school. The growing outrage.” A few minutes later, this ridiculous prank received a national airing.

Kurt Schlichter: There are rumblings out there, rumblings that have increased noticeably in recent weeks, that maybe it’s time to say “Thanks” to President Trump for his yeoman service and move on. It’s nothing personal, just business – everyone appreciates the president’s accomplishments, most notably his taking a sledgehammer to the garbage bipartisan establishment and its media toadies. But we need to win next time.

Derek Hunter: The people I’m racist towards are white liberals.  You’ve seen these people, often driving some kind of hybrid, regularly whining about the border, and always obsessed with skin color. They are the people for whom saying a minority group is not enough, they have to take it to the “especially” level, as in when they whine about something being horribly discriminatory against, say, trans people.

This underlines how NPR takes our tax dollars and uses them to enforce an ideological hard line that shames Hollywood and its liberal titans as insufficiently woke. NPR exists to “dismantle ideas” that whites in Hollywood “helped cement in the American mind.” Does that sound like journalism or activism comes first in “public broadcasting”?
